The card analogy during the placement -discussion felt really out of place, but yeah i agree with him that you cant plan everything out; sometimes you just have to move forward and connect the dots later on while looking back. The logic wrt placements was that you'd be capable to sell yourself and create opportunities for yourself. That's the main objective. It's to build folks who are entrepreneurial in nature. Good cards don't determine that you'll win the card game unless you use the cards well. Your job is to use the learnings, tag, pedigree, opportunities, network, community, access to professors in the best possible manner and *create* those opportunities for yourself, your family business or the place you decide to work at!
They should offer scholarships for EWS or lower income family background students just like IIT Madras Data Science programme is offering 75% fees waive off to Family Income >=1L, as they are inspired by them.

The subjects of IIM-B DBE don't really overlap with IPMAT. However, if you're passionate about the curriculum, no harm in doing it side by side! You can also consider the IIT-M as they have matrices initially that does overlap!
It was a 1 hour 5 minutes recorded conversation, we had a separate conversation when the camera was not rolling. @OwaisKhan-ss2hx, I wouldn't recommend you to make a sweeping statement like that. This online-degree can be supplemented with your offline degree, you get access to a strong network and IIM-B professors, if you have a strong start-up (even if it is ideation), you increase your chances of it being incubated at IIM-Bangalore, and a lot more. This isn't everyone's cup of tea (nor) is it claiming to replace colleges. Sir, goes in detail that one has to do something in their free time. If someone is already having a good business (or involved in family business), they can get this degree without compromising on much!

Can we pick the one we prefer or will we be allotted that randomly? 3) How do I prepare? Other than the mocks you have offered, do I need to do something else and how?
Hi Suhani, thank you! 1. Yes, it is possible, but it might be overlapping in nature, and may not make the most sense. However, if you're very passionate about the subject matter, you can try this out (but it will take away time). So critically analyse -- is that time better utilised to keep IIM-I grades up? or prep for CAT? or maybe do a technical/professional course to supplement your bachelors? 2. You get to choose your preference, and if slots are available in your first preference (date), you'll get that! 3. Most of your prep is already done if you've studied for IPMAT/JIPMAT/CUET. Else, you can honestly look at BBA Aptitude Exam playlists on RU-vid for each topic that comes in the mock exam, and go through it. The English was hard, and the rest was easy-medium in their sample paper! You can try GMATClub RCs too. GK is something that'd be covered to a good extent by the 100 questions of mocks. We provide detailed solutions too! Plus, you can binge watch StudyIQ videos and other GK summaries!
Thank you very much! Our objective is to put ourselves in the shoes of the student and ask questions that are actionable. We also floated a form in our WhatsApp group due to which we were able to get a general idea of what students were curious about!
hey, the BBA program from IIT Patna is said to be hybrid, although it is mainly online. They don't really have a selection criteria although they say they do, and the program is relatively new, the reviews online are also not very positive, so the learning outcome doesn't seem very promising, so please consider other options before you get to this one :)
I just have two questions....answer them please 1-will it be at IPMAT Indore level or like QA and LR will be of CUET level and DI and VARC will be tougher? 2-What will be the question distribution like..20-20-10-10 Or it will be random? Or QA-DI and VARC will be 20-20 and LR and GA will be random?
Hey there! Thank you: 1. We have found QA to be Rohtak-JIPMAT level. The LR is a bit easier. The GK is similar to CUET. The VA is hard, we found it on-par/harder than Indore (as per the sample paper released by IIM-B). 2. The distribution will be 20 QA, 20 VA, 10 GK, 10 LR. This was confirmed by the team. Our mocks also follow that!
I'd recommend not looking at it as just for boosting your resume. The main objective is that you gain the skills such that you could be a valuable asset to any organisation, especially those diving into online businesses. Your CV getting enhanced is a byproduct of you learning and clearing the exams and projects. This course doesn't guarantee placements, however, it's also majorly for making people entrepreneurial, if one can't make opportunities after that for themselves by reaching out to companies or coldmessaging, then things have been grasped well. However, if this is not something that you want, and you want a placement agency-isque college to be prudent, you can certainly choose one accordingly. Also, do note that this degree is online, so you can pursue an offline degree along side it!

Cutoffs are something that is decided after the exams are over! So, they'll be having a batch of around 1000 students. So, if (say) 10,000 people attempt the exam, then the cutoff will be such that top 1000 students get selected!
