Caramel Macchiato my theory (as I haven't done any research on the matter) is that in our own native language our brains don't actually listen for every word but instead kinda feel it in based off what we have heard billions of times. All that to say resisten to things you don't understand as much as possible slow it down at first if you have to then normal speed then even speed it up. I feel like over time your brain will get used to the speed. It works for me so maybe it will work for you as well.

When I first learned about your currency I was so surprised that the numbers were so large. Then I realized that you don't have decimals instead. My currency is called "Krona" [크로나] (meaning crown, abbreviated SEK, literally "single Swedish crown"), and 1 of those is around 125-130 won. However, for a long time we also had our own version of cents called "öre", the name derived from the latin word aureus meaning golden. They have been removed in cash, but since we used them for so long and we didn't multiply our currency by 100 when removing them, our products still frequently cost for instance 10.50 SEK. This means 10 SEK + 50 öre. 1 of those öre would then be 1.25-1.30 won. So understanding that, I can now simply think of using won as something similar to using our version of cents when counting money.

The image in the blank area of the bill is called a "watermark". U.S. currency has this also, starting with denominations of $10 or greater. However, unlike U.S. paper currency, where all bills are the same size, Korean paper money varies considerably in width. Larger denominations are wider.

Learnt the words 교환 환불 today. Interesting how 교환 환불 어려우세요 means we can't exchange or refund instead of it's difficult to exchange or refund.. Also learnt that (거슬러) 거스르다 means to return back the money change. Awesome 😎

its so confusing that you have such big currency like the currency in Croatia is much smaller with more value if that makes sence so like a 1000 korean won would be 5.79 in croatian kuna with seems much easier

in Turkey its not even an option to not to have the receipt, when you buy something like that. Maybe Korean people are so rich that they buy a new one if its defective? lol

How often do you use card to buy stuff in Korea? Do most of the stores/markets/restaurants have possibility to use card? I'm going to visit Seoul this month at the same time when I travel to Taiwan and I would like to know is it possible to use Visa card, because I would prefer if I don't need to use cash that much.
