Hi Liz, great video as always. This is a great system. Its a game changer but can you also get the same results by using any hard gel then applying a soak off base coat, color and soak off top coat?

I would just search the internet for gel foil wrap. I usually buy them on eBay by the case and just go for the cheapest ones I can find. There’s really no specific brand or anything I recommend.

Do you recommend scoring the nail for quick detach base, or is no scoring/primer ok? Looking for quickest detach for temporary nails on clients

If you really want easy removal like same or next day then just cleanse but don’t etch the nail before base coat. If you’re wanting them to last like 3-5 days then gently etch the nail and cleanse well before QD base. Don’t use primer in either case.

Hopefully you’re taking the cotton off of the foil and recycling it. Aluminum is a limited resource and should be recycled whenever possible. Other than that thank you for the video, it’s very informative just like all of your others. Thank you!
