Hey guys! In today's video I am sharing with you my take on the Eyeshadow Palette Tag created by Samantha March and Allie Glines! I had a few requests to do this on instagram and as eyeshadow palettes are my favorite thing to talk about on my channel, I was more than happy to oblige! I have had so much fun watching these videos over the past few days and seeing how many similarities AND differences we all have! I love this! I am 62 and until I found your channel I never would have thought of experimenting with new eye shadow palettes. But I’m hooked now. On your suggestion I have over 10 palettes, many brands you mentioned. The Persona Identity palette is one of my favorites as is the Tartelette Tease mini palette, my newest. Keep up the wonderful videos. They have been a game-changer for me. Thank you!

Mandy, Because of you, I now own: Persona 1 & 2, Persona Pink gloss. I love them !!! I appreciate your eye for value !!! I have held out long enough !!! I just got my Nomad Pallet last night in the mail and used it this morning for a work. I was able to create a wearable work look out of it but I can totally see creating a glam look with it as well. My taste in eyeshadows is similar to yours and I completely agree with your love for the Nomad Pallet. Can’t wait to create more looks with it ♥️ Thanks for the recommendation 😃👍🏼

Aww, the original Naked palette was my first too 😊. I LOVED it, I actually hit pan on the shade half baked so fast and have bought it as a single twice! I had to throw it away because I used up most of the shades, but it holds a special place in my heart too ❤️

Would love to see looks with the Naked palette, I think a lot of people have it or even recently got it before it was discontinued. Was excited to see you have one! I agree 10 yrs ago it ignited massive cult following on youtube, I remember watching videos trying to learn to do my own makeup at that time for special events, and everyone was using either Naked or MAC singles. After trying to dupe every Naked shade at the drugstore I eventually succumbed to social pressures to buy the palette...I also "saved" mine for special events, so mine has also been well maintained but doesn't look as nice as yours!

Yess about the morphe palettes having like five of the same shade. My boss mood palette has about five shades I can’t distinguish once in the eye

I really enjoyed this video. I'm an eyeshadow junky lol. I tried the persona palette and as much as I like the colors, I don't know why it didn't impress me and I actually gave it to my sister who was barely starting to use make up. My two favs are also your top two favs! Love love the colors from The Nomad Palette. I sigh with a sense of calm every time I open it. I love the Identity Palette from Persona so much I’m thinking of sending it to my sister who’s getting her MBA this week! Sona from Persona said it was designed for brown eyes in mind but really it goes with ALL eye colors. Love it!

I got the Safari Palette when it was on sale, as well! I have been eyeing, too, but the combination of the price and the mixed reviews, I couldn't ever pull the trigger. Ughhh yes the OG Naked pallette! That was the first high end I bought as well.. I hit pan on more than half of the colors and held on to the pallette for years afterwards. I'd buy it again if UD sold it separately! 😍

I love non-green shades too! You should check out the mini glam palette from Natasha Denona. Also I agree with the Love palette (although I love the shade “blind”) - I watched someone else apply a brown base then blend in the pinks which looked like it worked well.

But for the 7 looks video, I rather see you do 7 looks with the Safari palette over the JH palette since its an all matte palette and I would love to see looks that doesn't include shimmer or metallics.

Or do a seven looks from both of them. I have JH and agree the colors are super similar, and I don't need that much shimmer all the time. I have been eyeing the Safari, and would love to see seven different looks from it by someone with more your style esthetic.

I too, have saved my UD OG Naked palette, it looks very much like yours in that it has little use because it was for “special occasions” (which were few and far between, LOL!

You were one of the reasons why I tried Juvia's Place palettes and I am loving experimenting with their beautifully curated color stories.😊 I am most comfortable with neutrals on eyes but I love color so those palettes afford me options without breaking the bank. I have yet to purchase The Nomad but I want to along with Mini Magic.🥰 Lastly..I appreciate your LOTD videos and reviews..super helpful and I find your perspective interesting. One more thing- your hair looks good curly but the soft waves look great too.👍

The JH Palette, I did hear they did change the formula and the packaging. I appreciate that the finally add the names of the shadows by the shadows, but I can tell the texture is different. Btw, namiee's sells ABH Sultry palette. I'm debating on the ND palette that are on sale because I would like one but with what's going on, I'm not buying as much makeup, more on skincare and haircare.

So excited for you to have grabbed the Safari at half price! I considered it but hadn’t been eyeing it before the sale. Can’t wait to see the looks you do with it! Her prices are nuts but for half price, the amount of product in the pans (considering MUAs who may buy her palettes) she really gives you a ton of product.

Also... (commenting as I go lol!) fighting the hype on the Love palette was sooo hard around V-Day! If you use singles at all and think you would get more use out of some of the shades in the Love palette, ND’s pans are magnetic. Maybe another way to get use out of at least some of the palette?

Thanks Kristine!❤️ That’s a great suggestion! I wish she sold singles for those palettes- if I could just replace two of the shades in there for neutrals I would get so much more use out of it! Maybe I need to splurge for the Metropolis palette and swap for a few of those😄 I think the pan sizes are the same. If only that one would go on sale!😉

Man! Lol I had to stop and screenshot your hair! It is seriously the prettiest most unique style I’ve seen in forever! I missed basically whatever you said for the first 2 minutes of the video just obsessing!
