This was just in time I have a QSI built in OAG but I’m going to different OSC camera and OAG. This will be very helpful and easier to understand focus.

Help! Been struggling with my ZWO OAG for weeks. Last night was the first night that I got stars somewhat in focus. Did not have a 3mm spacer to put between the OAG and filter wheel. I have to run the guide camera all the way in, and have NO spare room for adjustment. I made a couple 0.030" brass spacer shims and put them after the OAG towards the main sensor. The prism does NOT protrude in the main image. I had to pull the prism up away from the light path to get any kind of focus for guiding. My guide image is terrible, with fuzzy stars and noisy vertical lines throughout. I am going to try and buy a 3mm spacer, but it seems they are only sold in sets with many more sizes 😞C11, CGX, 0.68 reducer, EFW, OAG, 1600MM, 120 mini Great images on main sensor, just no guiding... Been told to run the prism down on the long side of the rectangle(sensor chip),and perhaps keep running the prism inwards a bit to get clearer, less fuzzy guide stars. Problem is unable to focus if I do that.

We are fine....Continuing to meet nearly every Sunday night. Tonight it is about :"Seestar." Come join us. If you are talking about why this was only a twenty minute presentation, it is because we occasionally purpose-make shorter presentations that may or may not be part of a regular broadcasts.
