All About Polydactyly (Usapang Pangkalusugan) 

I personally have a polydactyl finger. I have an extra finger in my left thumb and I couldn't help but comment on this video because I beg to disagree with what the doctor said here that it is 'dysfunctional.' Well, not for all. Based on my personal experience since birth, I find my extra thumb useful in many ways that are hard to explain because I can only relate, as you said here, we were born with 'abnormalities.' I decided not to undergo a surgery for my extra finger because I asked many people and all of them convinced me not to do so. They consider it as my lucky charm. Well, one simple example my excess finger can help me with is typing more letters, which ain't 'dysfunctional.' My twin thumb's fingerprint has a heart shape so my thumb mark looks literally a heart fingerprint. It has some unique traits that I find amazing and I got used to live with it until now. I intentionally searched for any video here in RU-vid about polydactyly and this is just my own perspective.
