This video is a recording of the Surrey Prostate Cancer Support Group's meeting in June 2022 featuring Alex Rolland and Michelle Morand of Cancer Treatment Options and Management (CTOAM). The organization is a team of researchers and educators with diverse backgrounds in cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, oncology, and clinical cancer. They committed to ensuring that the patients are aware of and have access to the most effective treatment available for their cancer, maximize the success of the treatment and limit side effects as much as possible. CTOAM will work and communicate with your urologist or oncologist to achieve the best results in your journey with cancer.

Hi Dale, you might be interested in checking out our Advanced Prostate Cancer Support Group to hear from other patients with stage 4 cancer. We can't provide you with medical advice, but many patients find it helpful to hear the experiences of other men who are at the same stage of the prostate cancer journey as them. If you're interested, you can sign up/find more details at advancedprostatecancer.ca

If it is in your lymph nodes no you cannot be cured. Sorry but My cancer is now in all my lymph nodes. I live on 15 mg of pain pills every four hours. Hormone therapy has been hell for day long sweats, not just "hot flashes".

I have heard that some types of prostate cancer do not affect PSA, Therefor a low PSA does not rule out prostate cancer. True or false?

True a small % of low psa patients do get prostate cancer and more then 1/2 the time it’s worse if then if you had a high one. Get an MRI!

So Dr. Rolland, is the PMSA (THERANOSTICS) that is available in Australia, New Zealand, and Germany used for Gleason 3+4, GG2, Pattern 4, Intermediate PC? Is the Lutetium also used for lower grade cancers. Could I have a PMSA test done an potentially reduce my PSA and the doubling time?
