Great ! But not for beginner ! It's amazing how it's complicated ! I can't remember all the things you do here, so I will use a ready-made quixel material !
Great but it will more helpful if you divided the mether by title's since you are going fast and a beginner like me will definitely get confused. And add more details on which section and materian menus areas you are jumping from a d working on
I know it's late, but you should hold shift to draw, also make sure to have enough green points (the more polygons you have, the more puddles there will be. You can add more polygons inside Unreal Modeling Tools > Mesh > Remesh > encrease Target Triangles
When I click "Create Material Blend" I get a message "Current Material Blending setup doesn't support more than 3 material instances.". It's weird because only 2 selected. Any solution?
Maybe a noob question but...What is the point in puddles if we can't displace textures like in UE4 ? I never used UE4 but i've watched plenty of Quixel's videos and it was possible to create a blend material that supports displacement, back then puddles looked so good. On a flat plane, not so much...
way to go man i want the puddle targeting the texture alpha example lets say i have brick texture and the grout is my alpha how do i target puddle to that grout alpha mask? and thank you
You can only see half of the functions, it doesn't even show the complete nodes, I hate this kind of work, I noticed it after following each step, so thank you for the time wasted.
