I got 634 rank in SRMJEEE and opted for CS,as per my knowledge I know that those who have secured rank below 2500 need to pay only 2.5 lakh tution fee but for me it's showing 3.5lakh on admission portal after seat allotment.Don't know why.Please help and let me know if the same thing happened with anyone else.

My son got srm phase 1 rank 970 around intialy they send email showing feese 250000/ when we received allotment leter they send 350000/-, for srm ktr cse branch, i shocked , there is no response from university we tried more then 1000 phone calls they have not even lift the phone , for email also the dont respond

1L is refundable everywhere.. Just call SRM and enqire.. By the way the college is really good many of my frnds n cousins have studied here. Placement process is joint so everyone gets the opportunity unlike vit, where selection happens only in vit vellore first.

Hey! I am not sure why this video popped up in my feed. Also, I ended up watching looking at subject line. I feel that you kept the viewers in dicey situation by your opinion. I felt you should have given list of colleges with priorities ( IIT/NIT, VIT, AMRITA etc) instead of saying that it should be your first choice. I also want to highlight that placements is not the only criteria, we have parameters like infrastructure, faculty etc. where private far better than local engineering colleges. PS: I am not from SRM anyways, I belong to one of NIT's but it is quite a time I graduated. I just felt like posting this thought.

I'm studying at SRM(CSE 3RD year)..I'll share my suggestion to keep SRM at bottom of the priority list cuz it's not worth 16lakh for a degree and at last, you will get a job in the 4lpa package. They will try to loot money in many ways and it's so expensive. State colleges are better than SRM so don't pay that 1l fees keep trying other clgs if you don't get an admission finally think about SRM. One tip:- It is not about the college it is all about your skills to get placed in a job. Instead of spending 10l-15l go to a 3-tier college learn many skills(Fullstack, Competitive programming , etc) and approach off-campus drives .

No it can't be if you score more than 10K u have to pay 1 lakh extra from the ones who scored less than 10k rank I'm 2021 passout giving my final year major project viva so at my time it was 2.5 below 10k rank per year if u get above 10k u have to pay 3.5 per year till the time u graduate ur tut fee is 3.5 lakhs

Hii I am currently studying in srm University 2nd year cse department pls don't compare srm with nits or bits and also Manipal. srm sucks if we compare among them but nirf ranking of srm is not 41 it's 35 and average package will vary according to ur branch
