All About the Chenango Topstring 

I have this in a old warrior outlaw, its amazing and super accurate and has a TON of hold. A TON.

This may be just me but i found this top string extremely helpful for wider defensive heads like the hammer and gives you a very nice defined channel.

I tried the low pocket with this and it's the best pocket I've ever strung and the channel is so tight that I don't need shooters

oh and nice above and beyond in the background. Love them

Do most of these sticks you make videos for have releases that you can feel roll/ snap off the shooters or are they predominantly smoother, less snappy/feely releases?

You have the redline! I went to camp with the founder and maker of Redline there. He was awesome.

hey when I did the chenango top string it was very tight and I don't know how to do the sidewall... please help. all the side wall videos are horrible

I like it so far and when I saw the picture on ilgear I had to try it. I did have the looseness on the middle I have a x-spec. Over all I love it

What should I use for shooters with this? I like little whip with a straight powerful shot

This is a nice option for Tribe 7 heads...usually I had used Huron or Iroquios top strings to get around thevlack of sidewall holes up top...Thanks!

I have one in a Lakota with one top string 2 diamonds down and it is great! There is a great channel made by splits. Super accurate and sexy.

i used to use an iriqoui but the ball as it was coming out it hit the scoop how can youw prevent that?

I think I got it down, only problem is I did it on a pinched torque with old bagged marc mesh.

I used mine with a bag it works well it shifts a little but not that bad

I find it works best in a NCAA only (x6) spec head. The channel isn't as tight initially as a high school or X spec head because of the slight difference in the width at the top of the head. It looks like pratt used a surgeon 10 anyway. I through the top string in my Surgeon 10 and it turned out nice

It's actually pronounced shu-nane-go Matt went to Chenango Forks high school next to the Chenango River a Iroquois word for beautiful river. And now of course I'll have to string it for half the kids at Forks before he comes back this summer
