It is not just for seniors , it is for anyone who suffers a physical ailment and needs support. I am 30 years old and I've had Fibromyalgia for nearly 10 years. I suffer sever lower back pain also so this helps me to walk short distances and sit down while walking my dogs.
MuayThaiMmaXboxGeek Agreed I'm on the waiting list for a hip replacement and just recently my Daughter bought me one of these and it is great much better than my walking stick.Even though I am a senior.
No, grip this walker more for balance. You're usually only pushing down hard on a walker that's 4 pronged, or with 2 wheels to stabilize and take pressure off a painful joint.
The short answer is - something that keeps it from moving so quickly. Everyone wants this walker because of the seat but it's not ideal for many people because it moves very fast and promotes shortness of breath. In other words, it makes people walk artificially fast!
When I go to the doctor I put my purse and all my belongings in the bag under the seat and I take them out when it's to be folded and put in the trunk the other advertisements that are pushing the upright that is so huge and high and then they put this rollator next to it and I don't know how they found such a small one they want it to look small next to theirs and it isn't really that small I mean I don't bend over I'm standing straight up and it's so light when I go to go up on my doorstep it's just lifts without any effort
That's the Rollator that I have and I love it I'm 89 years old and I'm 5'5 and I stand straight up with it and when I'm lucky my daughter takes me to the casino I will go on my birthday next month well I will be not 89 then me2023 and it turns on a diamond narrow hallway of my studio apartment and it's light enough my daughter can put it in her trunk or the Uber they never complain about it and I transfer my dishes back and forth on the seat and when I go to the casino I have everything in the bag under the seat
