Due to covid, the online classes and my french teacher (an old person) are not able to go hand in hand. They conducted the pre finals but actually didn't teach this concept. So, I had to watch this. Merci beaucoup madame.

Good explanation mam, to replace person, we use pronoms toniques,for example: je pense à Marie(je pense à elle), je pense à Mon père.(je pense à lui)

Can’t we use coi here as the noun is followed by a and there is a noun could ma’am or anyone help me?

@@crankinator27_yt28 depend on the verbs, some cases we use emphasize pronouns(toniques) even "à" is there. You should the list of the verbs which required indirect pronouns and which one required toniques. But pronoms toniques replace persons and animals no things. For examples: je pense à mon avenir(j'y pense), je pense à mes cousins(je pense à eux).je parle à mon ami (je lui parle).parler à and other communicative verbs (+à)+ person(we use indirect pronoun) penser à+person(we use pronom tonique) penser à and thinking verbs(+à)+abstract thing (we use pronom "y")

Hello Ma'am. In point 3 an 4, you mentioned Je Y to be replaced by J'Y as Y makes "E" sound and it makes sense. Then in point 5, you wrote Elle Y. Why is it not Elle'Y as here also we have Elle ending with "e" and Y making E-Sound?

Ma'am there was a question in which we had to insert pronom y The question was- Ils vont nager à la piscine and the answer given by the book was- Ils vont y nager. Shouldn't it be- Ils y vont nager. Please help.

It is a 'futur proche' sentence so we are supposed to write pronoms before the second verb.
