Please correction, 0.1 is the highest, followed by 0.05 and 0.025 is the lowest strength. So if you are using for the first time, start with 0.025 , then you can graduate to 0.05 , then later 0.1
Exactly!!! She should check this video again. She's unknowingly and unintentionally misleading people. 0.1 is definitely the highest. Beginners should start with the 0.025 which is the lowest.
I started using tret on the 14th of this month, it’s been nothing but great. I haven’t started purging yet but people have been pointing out that my face is healing and glowing. Mind you, I did a lot of research before I started. What was recommended for me was Tret Simple Micellar water Simple moisturizing lotion Acne foaming cleanser Azelaic acid Beauty by josean spf I use the Cerave acne foaming cleanser on the days I apply Azelaic acid and micellar water on Tret days. Note: I give two days interval before my next Tret application. I am patiently waiting for when my skin will start purging because everyone keeps telling me to expect it😂
Thank you sis for a great video. I agree that a dry sensitive type might find it stronger but according to dermatologists, even dry skin can use it. Key is to start with low mg which you mentioned, start by using it 2 times a week for skin to build tolerance then gradually increase, use lots of hydrating buffers which you've mentioned, protect senstive areas with vaseline which is around the eyes, tips of mouth and corners of nose, use the moisturiser sandwich method- so mousturise, then tret, then moisturise again then lots and lots of sunscreen during the day...In short anyone can use tret but start very slowly and buffer the skin until your skin can handle it better..I hope that gives someone hope
My dr started me on the 0.1% it’s starting to make my skin blotchy but I have these bad chin bumps from acne it’s only been a few weeks some areas of my skin is really nice and smooth in just these few weeks but the irritation is pretty bad,I only use it at night I need to find a good sunscreen to use I’m a few months shy of 54 and just started to get acne they say it could be a hormonal change but it seems like it will help I don’t want to rush the process..I’m praying I see results in the next few months thank you for this video❤

Very educating...can you make a video on azelaic acid because i started using azelaic acid like 4 weeks ago and i feel like the result is slow because people would say tretinoin gives results faster after the purging than azelaic acid
I was lucky to get a bit of information before I started using tretinion. And I started with the 0.025% around April this year and I’m on my second gel tube right now. And yes I do have a really oily but sensitive skin , but tretinion has been nothing but good to me. I used it with simple hydrating light moisturizer.

Use anything gentle my dermatology always gives me samples of cetapyl or any other gentle no fragrance no comedenic cleaner and moisturizer and sunscreen

I experience the same and it’s tiring. I only use cetaphil gentle cleanser, vitamin c , numbuzin toner and skin softening serum so I don’t know what’s wrong
Please don’t use tretinoin if you haven’t tried other options and if you have sensitive skin . My friend advised me to use it because she saw it on TikTok I refused but I later used it because I was tired of my period breakouts guess what… I started with a very high conc my skin is in shambles now I’m seriously regretting because my skin wasn’t this bad before I’m trying to get my skin back now
It's almost the same but if your beginner it's better you get the tretinoin 0.025 because the 0.5 is higher strength and can cause irritation..I learned from it the hard way
Wouldn’t recommend tretinoin for us, we need to first get used to sunscreen before we talk of tretinoin. I won’t be surprised if they use it in the daytime
Pls ma my skin is very rough I have stretch marks everywhere all the cream I use always gives me stretch marks and dark moms am chocolate skin I don’t know the cream to use
You did not put a Disclaimer..it should be recommended by a dermatologist and not for self- medication just because u have pimples or u want clear skin.. Trust me if u self- medicate this product, u will not have the patience to see d results.. this product has gone up in price because people are buying it without doctor's prescription.. people are buying it like its vegetables..
