This mod's items are: 80% useless joke items 15% kind of good items you could feasibly see being implemented in Isaac 5% reasons why the internet should have a 16+ age restriction (you know which items I'm talking about)

1:43 wire coat hanger 2 removes one of your hearts every time you use it, so i don't think it kills you after 3 uses, it probably kills you if you use it while you have no hearts.

Ya I think it does a old glitch where if you take a devil deal that costs ❤❤ and you have ❤💙💙💙 you turn into basically a tantied lost with out a holy card until you get a heart

The surstromming giving you permanent Ipecac effect if you use it twice is most likely not an intended effect - it's a common bug in sloppily made items that give you temporary item effects. I think it just never checks if you actually already have the effect from the item and adds more copies of it anyway, but makes the rule for you leaving the room to take away just one copy in case you actually have real Ipecac, or just because the developer missed it. Knowing Whybirth, my money's on it being a bug.
@@asghfdasd708 not at all. something making a large group of people mad doesn't make something funny on its own. abortionbirth was bad and made people angry, but it actually had jokes to it, even if half of it was just absurdist humor. whybirth teeters on the line between a mod that takes nothing seriously like abortionbirth and a mod that takes itself super seriously like revelations, and doesn't pull off either. it just comes off as awkward and stupid and not worth anyone's time

I think the Coat Hanger 2 just takes a red heart container whenever you use it, as seen in the top left corner. Sorry if someone's already pointed this out.
I know it's old, but have you considered using the trowel in front of (or in the case of flight, over) a rock? If I'm right about the isaac code, the Angel statue spawns with a rock hidden behind it, and when you destroy it an angel spawns

the worst part is that Ipecac's own Spironolactone trinket is a good example of a good way to integrate such topics into the Isaac experience without being so shitty and cheap-joke about it. for those unaware: while holding spiro (an androgen blocker), puberty pills become damage ups. not only is that something which is conspicuously absent from the pill rotation, but it fits with the game's general design; while sadness is usually a tears up, cricket's head shows that it can also be damage, and worsening dysphoria to cause stat ups is very Isaac

@@AzuRemiliaI think you're right. The game has such a deep, fascinating but simple story. The method of the storytelling is hidden and genius, too. I have been struggling with a slightly similar situation depicted in the game for almost a decade. I played the Flash BoI a lot. I couldn't believe it when I found out recently that my childhood game turned out to have a story about a person who was in a very similar situation to mine. Quite an amazing game.
seeing the fake money bag item, forgetting the ultra greed intro and having seen the glorious effect of the shotgun i thought the joke was that Ultra Greed actually hanged himself and he'd just stay there, dead.

yeah, there is a difference between a joke and straight up bigotry and people defend it saying "its just a joke" don't understand how to hurts vulnerable people and it makes extremely harmful views more commonplace. But on the bright side most of the comments I've seen regarding the transphobia are in support of trans people.
