Did you guys just expect a young fresh Padawan to defeat grievious and ventress if she did you guys would be complaining about too much character power of course they were the most powerful people of that era she is supposed to lose
@@ju9653, no, Venteress and Grievous were toying with her. That’s why she survived that long against them. Cato didn’t know how to wield a lightsaber, so she had the advantage. She hesitated against the possessed Barriss. She was possessed by the Son of Mortis and wasn’t herself against Anakin and Obi-Wan. She gained the advantage against Pre Vizsla. She held back against Hondo. She was outsmarted by the Fallen Barriss, and she outsmarted Maul.
@@zipi8760 none the less she didnt get any extra jedi training after order 66, and managed to defeate any inquisitors in her way, and was evenly matched with vader
@@camrenkimmerling9406, well she probably trained on her own and meditated. And when she fought those inquisitors and Vader, it had been over 20 years. So it was worth putting her training to the test
People say Ahsoka was too OP for a fresh Padawan, but in her defense, Grievous in general was watered down massively from his novel/2003/comic counterparts, and Ventress wasn't exactly a high-tier combatant at the time either (Still overpowered Ahsoka without relying on emotions to amp herself as well). Also, Jedi Padawans are still generally quite powerful, just that they'd absolutely be slaughtered in combat against the Sith and Masters of that era.
Idk where people get the idea that she was going even against Grievous. Grievous clearly had the advantage in both fights, and was playing more of a game of cat and mouse to make it more interesting for himself since he's already killed so many Jedi. Even in the 2nd fight in season 5 where Ahsoka's very refined by then, she's on the defense for most of the fight, and got locked into two deadlocks, one of which she lost. Ahsoka is still very strong, and would've been on par with most Jedi masters if she continued until the end of the Clone Wars.
Ahsoka was also highly noted for her acrobatic skills, and if you look at her early duels, those skills saved her life most of the time, especially when she needed to flee from greivous.
