Yeah Krauser's body has always been how Wesker got the Plaga, they just changed it so he got as insurance during the incident himself rather than going to the ruins of the island and retriving it after the fact. (though Wesker having been present in the area the entire time kinda makes you wonder why he didn't just.. do it all himself)

@@thewalrus45 really? And where was the reference that stated this was a fact, because this is the first time I ever heard of this. I know Wesker got the Veronica virus from Steve but not Las Plaga from Krauser. In the original canon we always assumed Wesker got the Las Plagas from Irving.

Wesker speaks like he is trying too hard to sound like a cool villain or be like someone who has been sitting at the bar at midnight after he was fired. I can feel the anger inside him. He just needs to let it out and cool down.

Hopefully they do a remake of CV and the 1st game to space it out more, then have Wesker as more of a prominent villain, and then do 5

I'm betting they are remaking both resident evil 1 and Veronica, then after those two resident evil 9, then after we will get a remake of resident evil 5

That's wesker gainin a sample of a non dominant plaga thru ada,since ada was infected by pesanta aka U3,and unlike regular plaga,the plaga from pesanta can interfere with the mind as seen with ada,and pesanta herself was created thru mix of insect dna and the black water,meanin wesker has access to a plaga,and black water In one package

Yeah, you would already know that if you played original re 4 and re 5. He didn't get a master plaga sample but still got a control plaga from Krauser's body and he sold that to Tricell that used it to create Plagas type 2 and 3 and also Uroboros virus for Wesker in addition to the progenitor virus he already had.

​@thestrong2401 The control or master Plaga is just an alternate translation for the dominant species Plaga. Krauser has the same one as Saddler, Salazar, and Mendez in the original bio4; in RE:4, only Saddler and Krauser have it. Wesker didn't acquire the Progenitor virus until he found the secret location of the first Umbrella lab which is where and how Uroboros was made. The Plaga had nothing to do with Uroboros, it was simply used to guard the project as well as fund it through the black market.

@@melissazietz1241 Boring? That's an overstatement, his voice does get a bit monotonous but it's not boring. It's fit for his character because Wesker's very mechanical and inhumane. His voice also suits the shift in game tone, it's more serious. That's my opinion at least. His voice actor did well. I'm sure he'll do well in RE5 too.

@@tfcbioshock Yes I agree! Though I love Wesker having a slightly British accent, it makes sense since he was raised by Spencer who was of British descent. Will miss the accent he had tbh.

@@completeglobalsaturation I did miss that voice, but def not the VA. That dude was a dick. But it makes sense why they are going back to a more American voice. In the first few RE games weskers voice kept changing over and over, due to the wesker VA always trying to copy the previous weskers voice, which ended up becoming British later lol

for the love of god, let go of the re5 voice. This guy sounds more calm and collected, and MUCH more grounded in reality.

REmake 2002 and original RE 4 ones are great too. I always thought the RE 5 Wesker voice actor was the same from original RE 4 they sound so alike.

​@@xwriatikhhe doesn't sound calm and collected at all especially when he says "stop wasting my time ada" you can literally tell he is frustrated. The original RE 4 voice for Wesker was much colder and didn't let transpire any feeling. This new voice makes Wesker sound more human instead. Not saying it's bad, just not Wesker.

Re 5 is just iconic. Hes never intimidating.

In many Ways it Pass the original with Leon, Luis, Krauser and specially Ashley she was the most redone liked character in the game and a lot of the extra stuff was better but the cost was Ada had most her scenes removed and the Va didn’t help the dlc helped her character but not much really changed now for RE5 I really worry for Wesker because he has such a long history in this franchise so I don’t know how they handle it in one game

In canon(pre DLC) he got it via Svetlana and Tricell's backhand black Market Simmons was Ada's secondary client who'm I guess is getting scrapped now...

In original Krauser was still alive when Wesker was informed by Ada that he died cause he was believed dead by ada after Leon defeated him but he actually survived and was later finished off by Ada herself. But after knowing of Krauser's death Wesker sent another team to get Krauser's body and when they get to it he had just been killed by Ada so they were able to retrieve a sample of a dominant strain of Las Plagas from his corpse from his mutated arm.

Yeah I can’t wait to play the Wesker Dlc sitting at the desk watching over the village then head out to save Ada against Three Ganodos then showing up one last time to stop Ada from shooting Krauser or Saddler so I can stare at them for a bit and retrieve Krauser body after all else is finished it be a great dlc

Well, by keeping ada alive, he kept Leon alive, and Leon killed Krauser, and you see in the end credits scene he has krauser's body so maybe he just needed something out of her

I suppose he wanted to know if he could trust her going forward, since his plans for global saturation were coming to a head. Still find it kinda weird though, in the original he was just sitting comfy in his secret lab somewhere far away

He seemed not to want Krauser killed. I suppose he used ada, who saved Leon, who killed Krauser, dominoing everything. That way he could use krauser's body for.. whatever he wanted it for in the end credits, all while Ada is the one being hunted for having the amber, he gets away with everything he needs with no word of his involvement

@@tfcbioshock i mean, if he killed Saddler he gets the Plaga he wants and Krauser looses his power which means he can easily take him down too It makes zero sense to use Ada when it would take him 7 minutes to get it all done without leaving any evidence

Pretty sure REmakes aren't tied with the original universe so there is no canon break here.

It doesn't break anything. Wesker is the type of villain who uses people at his disposal, but always has a backup plan at the same time. He hired Ada because he clearly didn't want to get involved in any conflicts, but also took it to himself when he saw that he was betrayed at the end. Retrieving Krauser's body with a dead Plaga wasn't in his original plans. That was also explained way back in the OG canon as he supposedly got his hands on a "fake sample" from Ada. Even though the body can be used for research purposes, it's not the same thing as having the Amber itself, so this is where the retcon comes in. If you think of it, the same thing happened in Code Veronica: he always wanted Alexia's alive and fresh body, but all he got was Steve's dead body.

Come on man. Her acting did improved in her sections of the game. Lily Gao is a film actress rather than VA, so it is not really her comfort zone though. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t harass her, and she had enough.
