HOLY shit. Im late to the party....just wanted to say you are a monster on guitar !so much skill. You reminded me why Alexi Laiho is and always will be my favourite metal guitarist . To answer everyones burning question, he's playing 7-string B standard (B E A D G B E). He transposed the songs' solos back by three frets and transposed the riffs to what was comfortable. 3rd fret on low B is equivalent to open D on D standard songs an 1st fret on low B is equivalent to open C on Drop C songs

If i might nit pick... There's way too much laggato in this. Particularly the sixpounder solo #2 Every note should be picked. Alexi's technique involves picking almost all notes with a moderate palm mute. That is the key to his sound. I've spent many years playing these songs and I've got his playing style down.

Really good man, I can tell you know the parts well. I just wish I could hear your guitar better. Is the original audio for Alexis solos also on these tracks? It would be cool to hear it with just you and the rhythms.
