Nice playing Brent, I hope you and yours are all keeping well. Peace and love from Ireland mo chara x. If you are ever over this way then I would very much like to have a jam and a few pints. Edit, No I am not gay, lol.
You are one hell of a good musician! Especially on that Strat solo! If you ever got on America’s Got Talent or Britain’s Got Talent, you’d definitely steal the show!
DUDE! Your lead playing is so articulate! That guitar gave nothing to hide behind or blend in with, and I'm glad because the lead bits were so good. Fantastic!
I know this is an older video, but I’ve been wanting to get a smaller (parlor size or 3/4 size) cutaway acoustic to muddle around with when sitting on the couch, without having to take out my big dreadnought (a Yamaha A1M). Your demo, and amazing playing convinced me to order (a black) one. Thanks
I didn’t keep it. It was so weak sounding (as expected) acoustically. It’s really made for plugging in. Yes, easier to play, short scale, like my Les Paul, but the fingerboard and string spacing was too narrow for my large hands. I think a concert size would work better for a couch guitar, but still knowing that it wouldn’t have the bass and volume of my dreadnought. I have not purchased one though.
Zoom was not my cup of tea - but it was an Adventure! And the sound here is pretty well. Great Gig yesterday, thinking of being "alone" in your studio it was a really great Gig!! Congrats.....
First off, job well done on the music. Second, I see you changed the tuners. That's mandatory. Those crappy imitation Tone-Pros had to go so I put on a set of Grovers. I also replaced the nut, the saddle and bridge pins with Tusq. It made a noticeable improvement. I love mine.
I forgot to mention that you'll need to switch out the bushings that come on the guitar because the Grover posts won't fit inside the Yamaha bushings. You'll need to get a set of Kluson MB65N bushings. I did this myself but if I had to do it again, I would have a luthier do it. Hope that helps!
Well, I can say with delight you have a new fan here. Really like your voice and style. Playing isn't shabby either 😉. Thank you for sharing your talents and abilities.
