The crazy part is that a lot of British actors can do good American accents but as somebody born and raised in LA, he sounds EXACTLY like my friends and I it’s nuts. Like before seeing this, I was convinced that he was from here. He’s extremely talented.
Exactly! it's not how he just did the average american accent or anything, he like legit spoke using slang exactly like he grew up with them kids from south crenshaw!! which alone is all SO under-rated
Especially the black British actors/actresses. It's amazing. Edris Alba, Naomie Harris, etc. The young girl that was in one of Tyler Perry's movies was British. When I heard her do an interview, I was shocked. That is some damn good acting!

He is the Bomb, for real. That is my favorite program to watch. I enjoy the show so much. I even got my grandbabies watching with me. It trips me out how he can switch up his accent. Great job Daniel
He's doing more than just American accent though. He doesn't even say the same words, but instead uses the slang terms related to that culture. Pretty dope and crazy. I know a lot of people can do this I'm sure but it blows my mind how u can switch your whole identity in a matter of seconds. Would have been hilarious if he had done this at the white owned icecream shop when their whole group was being racially profiled

it's because over here in the UK if you're black, you won't get a main role in British movies. If you truly want to make it, you have to make it in the US. It's the sad reality for black creatives in Britain.
Everything about this man in All American just made me soooo proud ! Literally everything he stood for strived for and all over his strength to overcome any obstacles thrown his way! Literally had me all in , but when he lost the strength in his hand at the end of season 2 . I cried like a baby, WHY HIM !
