Snxgz Honestly, I understand your opinion but you gotta look at shit like this: With Corey leaving Spencer all by himself due to an affair Spencer’s mom had with coach baker, it provided Spencer with no one to really help him become a man. His mom was the one that had to play both roles of mom and dad and it made it hard for him to really grow into his character due to the absence of his father. Spencer’s mom did mess up but it doesn’t excuse the fact that Corey provided a childhood for someone that wasn’t his son. He provided 7 years to someone else and that’s what makes it harder for Corey to be a like able character. The saying goes that you should never turn your back on a situation despite how bad it gets. Sometimes you just have to face the music but Corey was always taught to run away from his problems and to me I feel like he still could’ve been a dad to Spencer even though him and Spencer’s mom were on bad terms.

REQURIEM 23 Agreed. As someone who’s lived without a father, I just can’t see or understand why you would leave your child like that. Spencer’s anger is understandable. It’s sad that he was sick, but to leave your family behind and comeback like nothing happened is just beyond me.
