Honestly you inspire me in so many things new vegan foods/clothing etc random stuff pretty much you're the one of my top fav RU-vidrs never change lol 💛✌🏼️
I'm seriously obsessed with your channel and style decently my favorite RU-vidr if you ever come back to LA please do a meet up I would love to meet you some day ....
I wish that we had enough climate to wear this kind of outfit here in Rio. Unfortunately most of winter days are hot, and the summer ones are almost impossible to walk on the street and not wanting to be naked lol Love your work, Sofie! Barely have words to describe my appreciation to you, and how you're detailed and careful at every single thing. Greetings from Brazil! 💕
I used to live in Korea, and I can say from first hand experience that it is soooo hard to be vegetarian/vegan/cruelty-free there. There are very, very few options. However I'm glad that at least Style Nanda is getting with the program. Hopefully Korea continues to improve in this direction!
love ur vlogs! first time i'm seeing one and u have such great style (editing and fashion wise aha), the time flew by australia seems so catered to vegans! so much great food
Hey Sofie! I was wondering how you take care of your shoes? You're always wearing your Fila sneakers and they still look so new! Maybe you could do a ~ shoe caring~ video? Love from Brazil 💕✨
hey! actually those Filas are my second pair! I've had these ones for about 11 months. My last pair only lasted maybe 1-1.5 years because the interior heel wore away as I wore them so much and they aren't amazing quality haha. aside from all that though haha I actually do try to take care of my shoes, maybe I can share some tips in a video, thanks for the suggestion!
It's so great to see a vlogger from my own city who is also vegan! If you haven't checked them out already, I highly recommend Bodhi, Mother Chu's Vegetarian Kitchen, About Life, and Hari's Vegetarian (Hari's is really good bc 1. if you present a student card you can get $6 curry, and 2. they also sell vegan cakes and sweets!) Top of the list for me is Bodhi though- it's a bit on the expensive side but their mini tofu burgers are one of the tasties things I have ever eaten in my life tBH P.S Misschu in regent place also has a bunch of vegan options (Y) I look forward to seeing how you go with veganism and good luck!!! There's a rly supportive community of ppl to help and give advice which was rly reassuring for me when I started out!!
oohhh I've actually already been to all of those places hehe so you have great taste! Bodhi is in my "treats of all kinds" vlog. even though I'm relatively new to veganism I've been to nearly every single vegan spot in Sydney already 🙈 I don't waste any time haha. plus my sis was vegan 2 yrs before me so I went to places with her in the past. I can recommend you check out Loving Hut, Soul Burger and Dandylion Bondi if you haven't been to those, some are in my past and upcoming vlogs :) and btw thank you so much for your support and recommendations!! xxx
first, you need to visit Israel if you want te eat a real awsome falfel and humus, second i really want to visit Australia, espcally Sydeny and after this video i want to,even more oh,and you're great!
A friend of mine went to Israel relatively recently and told me all about it. Maybe I will get the opportunity to go myself one day! thank you and I hope you can visit Sydney too! x
Try to adjust the white balance of your camera and the light you use to show the products. I see the current white balance is washing out all the cool tones, which makes everything warmer than it actually is. I see you're using daylight to show the different itmes. Different daylights (sunny - warmer, cloudy - cooler), combined with the light inside your room and the colour of the product istelf, can mess up the tones really bad. I suggest to avoid daylight whenever you're reviewing products that contain colour (as it changes constantly) and get yourself a small set up of lights to create a recording friendly enviroment with constant light, power and tones. Studio lights are usually white toned and it's very easy to set your camera to create the most neutral space possible. You can even write down all the settings so you can move the camera from the "studio" without losing all the work you did. You didn't ask for advice but I thought it would help you to know how to correct something that actually has a solution : D
woah thanks for the tips haha tbh I'm way too lazy to do that for most vlogs, but if I ever happen to do makeup swatches again I will keep it in mind! the camera I have been using is actually an extended loan from a friend but I haven't had time to properly learn the manual and settings yet.
THE MILK CLUB You're welcome ^_^! I like the style of your vlogs and how you edit them. I just had the feeling that you were slightly annoyed by the wrong colours showing over and over, hehe. I totally understand that feeling. I used to work in the photography industry, taking and retouching pictures for a fashion brand and eveything had to look exactly how it looked in real life. Take your time. If you ever have the chance to explore your (friend's) camera, you'll see it's actually fun to know a bit more about it.
How could you guys go there and not take all those cars with you. I hate that kinda of stuff it makes me so sad that they have to live in those little boxes and can't have a little bed or sofa to lay on and stuff **sheds tear** I'm not even a cat person oml.
Of course we don't want cats to be kept inside a cage, which is why they do have plenty of time outside of the cage as well. If the cats were allowed to roam free all the time, this could cause problems as some may attack each other, accidentally escape or get lost, and some cats have disabilities. The dream situation would be that each cat has their own large space to roam free all day as they please, but this isn't realistic as this rescue can likely not afford this and does not own the space for it. I think a better way to look at it is to focus on the positives, being that these cats are rescued, treated extremely well by the staff, and most are adopted quickly and successfully into loving homes, which is always better than supporting pet shops (btw I know somebody who volunteers there and I adopted my own cat from this rescue). xxx
How do you deal with spiders? Because I thought to do a work and travel in Australia but I'm so scared of spiders. So I wanted to know your experience and how it is in Sydney ?:)
you don't find spiders very often so you don't need to worry :) if it's possible for you, try to stay in a fairly modern home that doesn't have any large gaps around windows or doors. just be wary of where the spiders could enter and you won't have any problems. I'd also suggest investing in some repellant that you spray around the edges of doors and windows that lasts for a little while, this doesn't kill them but deters them from entering. even after saying all this though, like I said you don't see them very often, I see maybe 2-3 spiders a year.
