Hello AC fans!! I mentioned it in my description, but a lot of people are still asking about it: The audio is choppy because the video kept getting blocked due to copyright. Most of the trailers used songs that are not owned by Ubisoft and therefore were getting flagged by the owners. In order to get the video to even be published I had to cut out most of the audio from the trailers. I'm sorry that it takes away from the trailers, but it was the only way for it to post! Thanks for understanding!!

Ezio's voice actor Roger Craig Smith was younger Batman in Arkham Origins and also voiced Chris Redfield until Resident Evil 7.

If you say you don't like AC Rogue it's because you haven't played it yet and you don't know the reason why the protagonist hunts the Assassins, if you play the game you will understand very well the character, every protagonists have his story and reasons :)

“How are you a pirate and an assassin?” No spoilers, purely historical context. Pirates back then were a lot more merciful than pirates now. They lived by a code. They didn’t attack innocent fishermen. They attacked ships belonging to the British and Spanish crowns. Sounds very Assassin-like doesn’t it? In fact the original Caribbean pirates were actually working for the Queen of England at the time and were betrayed by their government which led to them becoming pirates. Sounds very Ezio-like doesn’t it?

Black flag is about a pirate who kills an assassin, put his gears on looking for some rewards but as his story progresses he becomes one. He's the grandfather of the assassin 3 character Connor and an ancestor to Desmond Miles, the modern day protagonist. Blag flag is the favorite of many AC fans.

For me, Ezio and his story *is* Assassin's Creed. I just love how we followed the same character across 3 different games, starting from controlling his limbs as a newborn baby, all the way till he's an old man. He even has a animated short movie that takes place in the twilight of his life.

If someone hadn't already said this, no, Assassin's Creed VI did not introduce ship combat. It perfected it. Ship combat started in AC3 with Connor.

Unity got a ton of hate at launch because of technical issues. The game has since stabilsed, and it's finally getting the praise it deserves.

I instantly love people who like Assassin's Creed. Lets keep the freedom of thought alive!

Black Flag is still to the date, my favorite AC game! Ezio was great, but Edward is awesome! You are an assasssin and you are also a pirate, match made in heaven!

Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry was an independant DLC short story that takes place after the main game. Personally I love Syndicate playing as Evie but maybe that's because I am a UK resident .

All I have to say is that I played AC1 until AC Unity, I didn't continue until later since I finished my Assassin's Creed journey in that game, i basically retired 👤

I love AC 4, Kenway is a my favorite. Tbh pirates and the assassin's are more similar than you'd think. They both want to live free from anyone else's control, only where the assassins go left in favor of protection and secrecy, the pirates go right for pleasure and glory.

3:06 *Requiescat in Pace* is just "Rest in Peace" in Italian, so it's just an Ezio thing (since he's Italian, lol), AC 1 takes place in many cities of the Middle East like Acre, Jerusalem, Damascus, and in Masyaf (where the all Assassins lived, kind of like their HQ ) , so for Altair he would say something similar, but in Arabic . (or also In English)

Now I've played almost every Assassin's Creed game most of my life, where the last one I played was Valhalla. Which I do like the first game, The Ezio Trilogy, Black Flag and Valhalla. But my personal favorite has to be Syndicate. Mainly because I love the settings and timeline during the Victorian London era (1868). And I also do think the main protagonist in this one (Jacob and Evie Frye) are definitely the best ones (along with Ezio of course 😅). Not to mention I also loved the DLC of Syndicate: Jack The Ripper the most.

The story of Rougue is my favorite as it shows you that not all assassins are good and not all templars are bad. It's also strongly related to Unity and other AC games in some way

Btw, if you are planning on playing the AC series. You have to start from AC 1 because it's story links to the Ezio games specially AC Revelations and also AC 3. Notably the modern day story of AC with Desmond Miles. Plus, the atmosphere and vibe AC 1 has has never been seen again in any other AC game, not even the Ezio games which I adore so much.

“Assassin-turned-Templar?” Had you played III and Black Flag, you’d know it’s not as uncommon as you think. Rogue shows us that it’s not all black and white, and sometimes Assassins can dive off the deep end and take the same “the ends justify the means” road as the Templars. To me, the worst part of Rogue was having to kill a character I liked from a previous game

Wild to say you don’t want to play Rogue or you think you won’t like it because you play as an Assassin turned Templar hunting down Assassins. I would think more people would see that as a really cool and interesting concept that changes up the franchise like how I think it does. Because it does and it is definitely worth playing and experiencing the story! It’s really good imo!

Rouge is actually good. Now you may dislike the aspect of an assassin turned Templar who hunts assassins but all I will say is that the plot is great and there is a good reason to why the main character becomes a Templar.

Phew... a lot to say... Being a pirate and assassin didn't mix very well if I'm being honest. Your reaction to Rogue though made me laugh because it was the same reaction I had XD. I knew I had to play it to find out why he betrayed the order... meh XD. I understand it though. I agree with you about unity. Personally, for me it was my favorite. To the new mechanics that were introduced, characters, story, the music, loved it all. AND THAT ENDING... still haunts me. I agree with many others about syndicate. I'll leave that alone there XD. One thing I did like was helping the kids at the factories. Loved Origins. only complaint was I didn't see a reason for them not to be together at the end haha. Finding out where the logo comes from as well was awesome. Odyssey, I loved for fighting and exploration. I have the opposite reaction though. For me it was hard to like Kassandra lol... I liked Valhalla, I wished it was more assassins creed type things in it. Also ending was meh for me but still loved it. The music being different is interesting because "apparently" Evior originally was always going to be female. Buuuuut some higher ups didn't like that and made them add the switching because they wanted a male Viking character. The switching was the compromise. I know you didn't watch it here but Mariage. Bleh. Couldn't get into it. Probably because who we were playing as. Okay, my opinion that no one cared about is over. If you havent play revelations , then start with AC 1 , because the Revelation game plot are connected with Altair (AC1) and ezio. Then go for revelations.

I had never played any of them, not sure I even heard about them. But the syrip club I worked at in San Diego always had ESPN on the tv and i would see the commercials for #3 a lot and it looked really cool. I played it and loved it and immediately went out and bought #1, #2a, #2b and #2c and played them in order. 3 really does have a great story to it and if you really pay attention to things like names, ties into Black Flag.

Not going to lie, I really enjoyed people reacting to these trailers of Assassin’s Creed franchise. As it shows that the Creed still lives on and strong in any era we be in. We still have assassins in their glory and life in history in a fun experience way. 😄

La shai'a waqi'on motlaq bal kollon momken Ezio chose the simple rest in peace in Italian. Kassandra did not say much but gave comforting words depending on person. Beyak said the Duat awaits which is a reference to the judgement time of the Egyptian afterlife. Evior used lore from the book of Viking legend to guide people to Valhalla or the hell of Vikings. Conner said a unique interpretation of some Mohawk afterlife sayings. Edward didn’t really have much religious faith so simply gave a pirate salute. The Frye twins said verses from the st James bible. Arno used bible verses in French. Basim uses Arabic verses from the Quran. I believe Naoe will use Japanese traditional sayings from the Shinto religion while Yasuke will say things in Japanese but in English too. Each has their own way of comforting the dying.

I've played all the Assassins creed don't underestimate Rouge. He has all the abilities of the Assassin but the brotherhood turned on him when he was on a mission that's why he became a Templar. Actually a good game.

Hi LiteWeight. Great reaction. I can't wait to see the first gameplay for Shadows. That away I know if I made a mistake or not from purchasing the Collectors Edition, lol. But I have high hope's for this one. I wish they would do remakes like they've done with the Resident Evil games or like The Last of Us Part 1 Remake. It would be cool to see the first Assassin's Creed on new gen consoles in 4K. Also that would force me back into playing them again. Here lately I've only been interested in playing games that are extremely good that look amazing. Example would be Horizon Forbidden West or Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Part 2. Them games were a blast with amazing graphics. That's why I can't wait to see what GTA 6 will look like. Ubisoft has disappointed over the years. Unity is literally the peak Assassin's creed in almost every regard. City design, facial animation, crowds.. wait, not like that - C R O W D S, interiors, side quests are second to none. It only lacks actual modern day gameplay, but with such brilliant simulation I don't even want to waste time in modern day!

I haven't read through all the comments so I don't know if others have already said but Freedom Cry was initially a relatively large DLC for AC4 Black Flag - they later released it as a seperate stand alone game. It is included in the gold edition of AC4 though so should you ever buy AC4 get the gold edition, then you will have Freedom Cry aswell. AC3 Remastered also includes a second game called AC Liberation (no trailer in this video so you may or may not be aware of it's existence) it was initially a game made for the Sony PSP that they later released as AC Liberation HD on other platforms and then remastered alongside the AC3 remaster and included it in the AC3 remaster.

Know you already told someone else you'd give rogue a shot, just throwing my two cents in. Rogue will likely not feel like a full game or some things may feel rushed as it was made and released around the same time as untiy but for last-gen consoles. With that in mind though, the story telling is phenomenal and imo one of the best only being beat by Ezio's story. Some people say it's a 4 reskin and to be honest they are kinda right, but the story is an important one even if a lot of people don't like the idea of playing a Templar.
