@@elwynnquinslais2776 A tracker... now that you mentioned it... that reasoning would explain A LOT as to how Black Swan knew where to come into contact with the Nameless Trailblazer for the perfectly timed save from the meme monster. And also, the fact that it's revealed that she'd been working undercover for Aventurine the ENTIRE TIME in bringing us back safely to him during our tagalong with Acheron, as well. Black Swan is literally a spy for Aventurine in relaying whatever information the Astral Express has about him. And the fact we coincidentally keep running into Aventurine way too often... That means Aventurine has been watching us from afar since the beginning. His first encounter when he said he had to watch the Astral Express from behind for quite awhile now. A second time when he conveniently reserved "his room", for us. And a third time when he had Black Swan watch over us the entire time she was with us. It's apparent he is keeping tabs on us because he wants us to make that deal with him in reclaiming Penacony back for the IPC. Even if it means going far as to ensure our safety. Better watch our backs with those two. I wouldn't get too comfortable with someone who can easily manipulate memories, and an IPC member with QUESTIONABLE origins. Not even Dr. Ratio trust this guy, and he's the smart one. Hell, not even a MASKED FOOL who only lives for the thrills is even on aboard with aligning themselves with a guy like Aventurine. You would think someone who only cares about fun, dangerous escapades such as Hanabi would have a kick in creating havoc, and mayhem alongside someone as Aventurine. But nope. That alone already says enough about Aventurine's character without further implications. And people say Hanabi is, "racist". Well, better to be a, "racist", then to end up on the wrong, or worse, dead end of a bad business deal.

@@Evil_Beauty I might be playind devils advocate but I feel like Aventurine is a victim to the system. If he was indeed a thrall and sentenced to die, the "gamble againts destiny" might have mean to take back Penacony or get executed. The end justifies the means he is not trustworthy but it is basically his only way of surviving.

Based on ALL the subtle interactions we had with this guy thus far, Aventurine sounds like the kind of guy who will go through GREAT lengths to "win" a "bet" (aka his mission), let alone restort to whatever underhanded tactics, and methods he has at his disposal, even if it meant using his, "friends", as liable assets, pawns, or sacrifices as a justifiable means to an end as long as it secures his "victory" (success rate) in his "game" (mission). If his idea of "surviving" the IPC is him using us as his scapegoat, by dragging us into his lil "game" of meddling with the political affairs of another world that risk endangering us because he chose to rub shoulders with a bunch of shady corporate overlord bigwigs that are topdogs of the galaxian hierarchy (stated by Hanabi), then I certainly for one hold absolutely NO sympathy for him, REGARDLESS of whatever his tragic sob story is, or unprecedented circumstances that has him affiliating with the IPC. That's literally all on him for wanting to play, let alone hang out with the wrong crowd of people responsible for destroying lives throughout the Honkai universe. Don't make bets, let alone play "games" you know you can't "win". What he's doing is literally throwing us into the lion's den alongside with him. P.S. I just saw the scene where he called Topaz, giving his briefing of his involvement with the mission of reclaiming back Penacony. Apparently even he is willing to use, let alone get Topaz involved, risking to endanger her with Penacony's dark history. It's no wonder Hanabi was smart enough not to join forces with him. I wouldn't either.

Nah I don't think Aventurine is Firefly's killer. He's sus, but Acheron is even more so - all the purple Acheron has matches the memetic entity's theming better. Also, there was purple where Robin was impaled. Considering that Aventurine told us Acheron did it - let alone the fact that Black Swan was working with him - I definitely think more signs point to her. No, he's got a heck of a personality, but I don't think it was his doing.
