Working under Saïx's wishes of eliminating the higher ranked members of Org XIII, unecessarily killing off Vexen and Zexion. Lexaeus unfortunately got decimated by Riku's darkness however, saving Axel one more execution.
After playing the GBA version of the game, I never expected Axel's voice to sound so... subtle. I thought of him as having a slightly more... aggressiveness to his tone?
Larxene: *Phew* throwing that battle wore me out.. Axel: Really it looks to me like you just plan lost(OOOOOHHHHHHHH #REKT!!!!!!! He just flamed you ass Larxene)
It was better on GBA IMO. "NOW you can tell me I don't respect my elders." It's really too bad they edited the dialogue the way they did. The GBA version had much better lines.
@@michaelcs4183 yeah, also changed a scene, forgot which one though(it wasn't that much change but the gba version is the canon one, though the meaning is same so it doesn't matter)
Axel is my favorite character, I really love this fiery porcupine (Just look at THAT HAIR!) But after his second fight against me, every time I hear him say "Got it memorized?" (Or "Feel the heat!" or "Burn, baby!"), I'm not sure if I wanna be happy to hear his catchphrase, or if I wanna kill him due to remembered frustration. Maybe a bit of both. (The fight wasn't even that bad or annoying, but... Idk.)
+Mizzium Mortars There's even more hints in the GBA version (Larxene's "soft spot" quote doubled as an insult over his friendship with Roxas, for example), but most of it was taken out of the PS2 version, for some reason.
One thing I really miss about Axel's later appearances is that his sinister grifter side is almost completely gone where it worked so well in KH2 and Re:COM.
That's so true! But in 358/2 Days, I forgot if he spoke like this at first, but since he makes friends with Roxas and Xion, he seemed to be less like a "robotic" jerk (I mean he doesn't sound robotic but he does seem to speak more eloquently in COM) and seem more... human. It makes sense due to him slowly gaining a heart... maybe that's why! Just what I think. Even if they intentionally changed his speaking just cus, I still use that reason.
That makes sense. He only knew Roxas for a little bit before he was sent to Castle Oblivion. So he didn't get a chance to bond with him and become more human. Plus, they probably made him sound like that to make the player question who's side he's really on. Since he had his own agenda during Castle Oblivion.
Because he's trying to play along with their plans. He's essentially working as a double agent, trying to weed out the traitors in Castle Oblivion whilst simultaneously keeping himself under Marluxia's radar.
PhantomR32 They never changed the Japanese lip sync for the English version, so the actors had to mime with the Japanese lip movements with English dialogue.
It was so cathartic. I did both Vexen fights for my roommate before I got there myself... He wasn't that bad once I figured out how to beat him, but ugh. He's so much fun to hate, so seeing that crazy bastard burst into flames was _amazing_.
The Quilava King82 for 2 reasons. #1:for scientific reasons #2:because he was like the rest of the organization (an empty shell with no heart). remember the organization at this time was 13 nobodies who had a common goal, to get hearts
Well around that time. Contrary to what nobodies have been told they do grow hearts over time. And I think then was the first time he was aware he was feeling an emotion.
I think being friends with Roxas helped him start growing a heart. In 358 you see him show emotion but they just deny it because it's impossible. The power of doctrine.
Don't feel bad KH is a complicated game to learn. It took a lot of effort to understand the lore myself. Most of this was revealed in the game Dream drop distance. The person that told them nobody's don't have hearts was Xemnas (the nobody leader). He did this because he needed vessels and them not growing hearts was essential to that. So he told them nobodies didn't have hearts to make it so they didn't try to feel and grow. The kidnapping the princess was Ansem seeker of darkness. Who had his own separate plan. important to note that Ansem and Xemnas are the same person (Xehanort) before they spit into the heartless (ansem) and nobody(Xemnas). But they still had their separate plans to try to get Kingdom hearts. That's the abridged version. lol
+sweetblackblood1 You might want to sit down lol They have just been told they don't have hearts so much they begin to believe it without question. They dismiss having emotions as just having a memory of what emotions are at times too. He needs nobodies as vessels because he needs 13 darkness's and 7 lights to awaken the X-blade. He wants the thirteen darknesses to be all him because it's easier to control. the X-blade is made from a clash of darkness and light and can summon Kingdom Hearts. There has been artifically KH's that Xehanort/Xemnas/Ansem created. But since those plans failed he is going to the next plan start a keyblade war with the 13 darkness's and 7 lights. And the keyblade war makes the X-blade which summons kingdom hearts. As to what kingdom hearts is we don't know. We only know that the last keyblade war almost destroyed all light in the universe. Xehanort is curious on what happen and also will take what ever power KH has if he can and create a universe of a perfect balance between light and darkness. Because he is a true scientist and wants to experiment.
Forgot how dark this game was in comparison to all of the other games. Axel literally burns his comrade alive and then allows all of the others to die. Honestly, if all of the other Kingdom Heart games were this dark, I'd find them much more interesting. Don't get me wrong; the others are great. Just adding a darker element is a lot more fun.
A fair warning for roleplayers: If you're going around RU-vid as a roleplayer, please be careful! Because I finally realized that not all roleplayers are bad. Some are just plain stupid! But watch what your posting, don't troll anyone, don't start arguments, and don't jump into an argument that doesn't involve you! Because I found out the hard way that people can report your RU-vid and Google+ just for impersonating a fiction character. If you don't do anything as posted above you will be fine! And you're going to be seeing this comment, A LOT!
Axel.. is it because of Larxene said to you privately, "KILL VEXEN!! I DARE U!!" Then you must have accepted that dare.. Why does Vexen need die anywayz? Traitor?? Or because he's an awful scientist..?? Meh.. Axel:"Goodbye" Vexen:'DIES' Me: Isn't that a bit rude to be honest?? Me later: Stuff u Axel u killed a scientist!! HOW DARE U LARXENE!! AXEL MAY BE MY FAV CHARACTER, BUT NOT WITH A DUMB ORGANIZATION MEMBER! If you watch Larxenes scenes, she'll say Axel was being a jerk cuz he let Naminé GOOOOOOO!! Good for her though.. ;)
Be a surprise ... Leraxane's voice is more innocence than I though ... Now she's more like naughty-girl than evil-female that I used to though before ...
This is not all of his scenes, you forgot one: the one when Larxene goes off to fight Sora and we get the awesome "You would have been wise to have done the same, Larxene."
I like how Axel has yet to become the cool dude we see in KHII. Until he becomes friends with Roxas, he's essentially just another Organization member.
Kicxn Fuoco this one was done on a tight budget, originally it was packaged as an extra with FM II but well that didn't exactly come to the west till the HD collection.
