My grandparents had one of these. My favorite sound was the white-throated sparrow. I was always so little when i heard this that i couldn't read which bird made that sound. Thanks!
Hey! I have a different story. Although my favourite, but when I first heard it, it scared the shit out of my pants as I was unaware that the clock was making the sound. I didn't know that my Aunt's clock makes the sounds of birds every hour and it was 10 at night and I along with my cousin were happily giggling at night in dark when suddenly we heard the bird's sound out of nowhere. Later when we realised, we laughed out loud so much. 😅
Great way to test if my clock is set correctly. My fave is the Mourning Dove at 7:00 because that’s when I’d always say “TIME TO GO CATCH THE BUS” when my girls were little. My how time flies….literally!
Thanks for showing! I had one of the cheaper Chinese knock-off version of such clock since 1998 - the sounds were a bit more unnatural and there was no daylight sensor, but those had a small "test" button on the back to hear all the sounds one by one and to set them in correct position after the batteries die. Doesn't this version shown in the video have such a button?
Do these clocks have a setting to get the bird sound every hour? my mom's is just like this but birds only sing if u hold in on the red button on the back of the clock
