Heaps of penalties and alot of reset scrums but the general play of the game was good. Corey Jane played well til he got injured and I'd be worried if I were Roks or Sivi.
Most of the island all blacks were born in NZ or came here when they were very young. We have to deal with all the shit social problems they cause so we should still be able to use them for rugby.
i think football can be just as agressive as rugby, if not more. The thing is, our pussy government made a requirement for padding for certain contact sports back in the early 1900s. Two great sports, both very hardcore, but i agree with many non Americans about how football would be much better without pads.
how does combining the tri nattions and bledisloe suit nz?...theres not much difference in terms of nz and australia changing teams after world cups. If you look at the 2003, and 2007 and the current teams of each nation, there are significant differences in terms of who is in the team. Nz has lost at least 10 players after the 2007 world cup. Losing at world cups is more to do with stage fright and pressure rather than losing momentum
Course it makes sense, they just likened being hit by a football player to a car @ 40km/h(which is logical cause I don't think americans would care if they said the F=... understand now?). And of course the mass is bigger in the americans mostly cause they weigh more. and more muscle cause of roids. But they do hit harder, sometimes so hard it knocks people unconscious. All that padding don't always help. These Maori dudes look so freakin' badass it's insane.
You know what sucks, nobody has I think realised what the loss of george smith means. Fair enough that Pocock was ready to step into the 7 jersey, and we all know how things have gone from there, but it is overlooked that Jorge played these last couple of games at 8, and did a great job. No 8 (and 12) are the positions of uncertainty currently, and I believe that george (who is the same size as Brown give or take a kilo, but with far more skill) would be making and immense difference there.
If youve ever seen the Aus league team I swear they would own so much. It pisses me off that Aus is 3rd best in Union and 1st in leauge by so much. I dont play league btw I play Union for club. Also look up Greg Inglis his like the Jonah Lomu of League. And Israel Folau the Rokocoko (but better) of league.
congradulations! all you need is another 6 tri-nations titles, another 8 super titles, and another 50 or so IRB world 7's titles to equal our current record :)
Australian rugby is going well to be ranked 3rd best in the world. If your another Australian like me imagine if we had all those rugby league players turn to Union!!! We would easily be the best. For people who dont live in Aus look up 'Australian national rugby league team' on wikipedia. We have won 9 out of 13 world cups and have never failed to make the grand final only once in the very first tournament.
@dubbelmacka87 Getting hit doesn't hurt that much though. It's hitting that hurts. And the padding in football helps with that a ton. Also, that doesn't make any sense at all...force is measured with F= ma (Force (in Newtons, or kg/s = mass x acceleration). The force is dependent on the mass of the player and his acceleration. It should be pretty much equal for each sport.
@jondber You know, they have measured the force of impact in both these sports. Being hit by an american football player is like being hit by a car going 40-50Km/h. Rugby was far behind... Other than that rugby is a lot more hardcore I agree
