They are paramilitary but not Military.Military is the highest power ful force . Military means Army,Navy Airforce the come under Ministry Under Defence. Under paramilitary CRPF,CISF,NSG,BSF,SPG ,COBRA etc..all those forces come.They all are armed police force.Not state police but central police. There is a huge difference between Army and CISF & all these forces. And atlast NCC also comes under Ministry Under Defence.Now Chief of NCC is Lt.General Rajib Chopra .He is an Army officer.In this video those forces are doing duty they are CISF means Central Industrial Security Force.They are not army.The Indian Army is totaly different .Thier main prospective of work is Protect our country from external forces( mainly in War).That's why they are called Defence force. Atlast don't confuse Between paramilitary and Para commandos(para sf).Para sf is the special force of Indian Army. If still u have any doubt u can cmnt me .

They are not army.They are CISF personnels.Cisf primary task is to secure various industrial units and vital installations like airports,seaports,drdo/isro/raw headquarters etc.

My mother is also in cisf and has checked many celebrities she says everyone is equal and no compromise with duty Edit: here is a story my mom told me : so she told me one day yuvraj singh's mother came to her in frisking booth and wasnt complying with my mom's checking and wanted special treatment by going directly without getting checked my mom said no and but she threatened my mom and said "mai bohot logo ko janti hu mera beta yuvraj singh hai twri naukri chle jaygi" but my mom didnt let her go at last she did get herself checked and my mom was awarded with a bonus reward later she also received a police award for all of her excellent service in c.i.s.f she is still working.
Bahut badhiya bhai. Iske liye aunty ji ko bahut bahut badhai. Aise hi hona chahiye. Aisi hi ek kanpur ki ghtna me ek policeman ne kisi mantri ki gadi ko isliye rok diya tha bcz ambulance ja rhi thi.
