I liked this story. It was a backdoor way to directly scale Thor properly, without the Odin/Thorforce. What Beta Ray Bill says makes sense, Thor pure power unleashed is virtually unrivaled and something that likely a setup for something in the future.

You never disappoint! I was waiting for your take on this storyline conclusion. The major take away is that the last man standing between the two will reside in a dead universe. While I am glad these story resolved itself, I am really looking forward to Thor getting to the bottom of The Hardy Boy mystery of what happened to his ancestors in Valhalla. I'm curious to know if in order to do this will he have to fall into a deep Thor Sleep, or actually die? That's the story I'm excited for. Great broadcast, SQUAD UP!!!

Yea someone had commented about how this was hulk learning how it feels to fight someone unrestrained like how he does to them. But Banner was the one piloting and in most canon banner is always restraining the hulks full power as to not nuke towns.

It is just saddening that we had to have a held back Hulk to fight the most powerful Thor. I would like to see a Heart of the Monster Hulk with Oden Force go against Hulked Out Thor. And if Oden could drain Gamma then why didn't he do that to the Titan Hulk? This just seems to raise more questions than answers.

Now hulk knows what it's like to be on the other end of the foot, fighting against his own rage, fighting against someone who's not holding back compared to being held back, now hulk knows this feeling

@@BigReuben97 Its actually explained in either world-war hulk/immortal hulk (cant remember which) that banner is always holding the hulk back physically and mentally (since rage is tide to mental so it affects the physical body of a character like hulk) since banner is laterally running mathematical equation so he does not kill people lol. Also banner was def holding hulk back in this issue.

And beta ray bill said a big bullshit about thor because thor hold back oftentimes in his battles but he didn't hold back in the past against the hulk + here literally bruce banner hold back the savage hulk to take the control of the situation using the mjolnir (without becoming more powerful to don't becomes titan because if he becomes titan he would kill thor) and yes technically the Hulkized all father thor ripped an arm to (the hulkized all father thor, not a normal all father thor) bruce banner with the mjolnir while he wasn't able to heal his arm thanks to the mjolnir which depowered him because after the fight without the mjolnir bruce healed his arm almost instantly, this wasn't a good fight and donny said thor would have won but this isn't true because the savage hulk was clearly superior and Bruce banner hold him back to not become titan while thor was hulkized and savage 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would make the argument that the hulk is actually weaker with Thor's hammer. This is one of the main reasons that The Hulk has never taken Juggernaut's powers as he said it would make him weaker.

I understand thor changing into a hulk and hulk being able to wield the hammer didn't really make neither weaker it pretty much amp both of them up in power but also allowed them to recognize one another's power and struggle on to why and how they are so powerful. Have to give it to DC at least they're trying new things and you don't hear so much as a hero's coming at each other's necks yes the heroes get killed a lot by the villains if not by the own selves or some sort of other godly like beings. Lmao this was Banner that thor fought not the true Hulk... Also Banner didn't even increase the level of the engine room... Bruce was clearly holding back here... Also the Green Door is still there,as long as TOAA/TOBA exist so will the green door. Hulk is still Immortal,even Donny cates confirmed it in this comic.. he said it a couple of issues earlier.. So Hulk is still Immortal.

Yeah, I agree: regardless of what was previous stablished, this comics seems to lowkey say that Thor is more powerful. Not saying that this is the absolute truth, future writters could easily retcon this, but until then, this comic basically put Thor in the position of a unstoppable menace, while Hulk was the hero at disadvantage that need to deal with this menace with a plan/dialogue, instead of sheer force. And this without mentioning how Beta Ray Bill explanation made most previous confrontations between the two more dubious in favor of Thor.

Heck even in this fight is was Thor vs Banner not Hulk. Hulk wasn't the one Thor fought here,and Banner was clearly holding back... Thor is absolutely not superior to Hulk.

Gonna let Beta Ray bill have this because he's speaking from HIS point of view, because Bill doesn't know Hulk, as the readers we've seen most of the Thor V Hulk fights, another thing I disagree with is 'If' this is Cates trying to say Thor is stronger he's just always holding back, then I call BS, because we know Hulk is always holding back too, even Savage Hulk most of the time fight to be left alone not to kill, another thing we could take into consideration is that this Hulk isn't even close to being as strong as he can be, we've seen World Breaker and Heart of the Monster Hulk.

I agree with you, here bruce banner hold the savage hulk back for take the control of the situation with the mjolnir to save thor while thor was empowered by the gamma powers and was completely savage, here literally the savage hulk showed he's capable do defeat thor

@@tyrannicaltypomichaeltester honestly no, he can defeat bruce banner because before banner taked the control, the savage hulk was on par with the hulkized all father thor, this fight wasn't good and in past thor fought without hold back with the hulk but he wasn't hulkized and in these occasions he didn't won every time, this fight just proved the hulk actually is clearly superior to the all father thor because if at some point the savage hulk was even able to fight without problems against the hulkized all father thor and after that Bruce banner hold him back to save thor... Here thor was less powerful and he wasn't capable to defeat the hulk, he was defeating bruce banner while was depowered by the mjolnir (because with the mjolnir he wasn't capable even to regenerate his arm and he also wasn't increasing the rage level)

I am not complaining too much, as I like him, but I feel sorry for Galactus and Hulk fans, and even I cannot praise continuity contradictions in favor of fansservice. Buuut... What marvel need to do is scale up their villains and make them powerful they've been fighting the heroes for so long you mean to tell me they haven't gotten stronger themselves seriously? Just like in boxing or MMA, just because you lose a fight with a better combatant doesn't mean you get weaker it means you learn from that mistake and you get stronger so the next time you fight that person yeah you may still lose them but that doesn't mean you want to go down with a one shot or completely without a fight like where's the villains it's only heroes versus heroes is this mortal Kombat injustice Street fighter or this is marvel comics we are heroes battle villains sort of social commentary sprinkle in here and there maybe not too much but enough to make you think about life at least. Bring back classic marvel screw all this CW crap
