And then when they do give it the spotlight they make achieving that power up almost impossible overall and literally impossible for any of the main cast to get it unless boruto actually becomes an otsutsuki
@@ioriyagami347 but byakugan is not about white eyes .. the real byakugan is the abilities of the eyes like hagoromo he born with white eyes but he have no byakugan so more like the byakugan is the abilities and the white eyes is their only regular eyes nothing special like black eyes of uchiha and when they activated it becomes red.
There’s actually a scene in the movie “The Last” where Hinata uses her Byakugan, then accidentally looks at Naruto next to her and looks away all embarrassed lol
@@razkable comment on years old comments for the win. Do a Hyuga always see through clothes or do they need to focus to see though. See everybody 800 meters around you naked could be distracting.
9:57 wasnt boruto like 13 when he created vanishing rasengan, compressed rasengan and his own wind style rasengan? He also created his own combo attack with speed similar to a chidori (not fully mastered ofc. i dont think that it is the same speed as sasukes for example) before even becoming a genin.
Technically he didn't "create" a jutsu since its just a variation of the rasengan, but to revolutionize such an iconic jutsu at his age was just as impressive
I personaly think the vanishing rasengan counts as a new jutsu since works at a whole other way than a normal rasengan, like windstyle rasenshuriken for example. It is made with a rasengan but the difference from a normal rasengan is so big that it is like a new jutsu while still resembling the rasengan. The other ones are near being new justu. One thing is for sure, he is as much if a genius as minato or even more than him.
I think one Buff to the Byakugan is Allowing them to Redirect Jutsu like You Have a Giant Majestic Destroyer Flame coming towards you Then just Have a Byakugan User come along and Redirect it to the Caster
there was one other ability the byakugan had where the user can focus their eyes on their target and restrict the chakra of their opponents and essentially kill them.
@@Jonathan_O. It was in the early episodes of Naruto when they were talking about before the hyuga clan split the way they did and then they flashed it again with kaguya
So which magic eye balls do you guys want? I'll take a rinnigan since the whole going blind from over use thing the sharingan has doesn't sound to pleasant. Can't count on an eye transplant
Id actually take byakugan if we're talking real life everyday usage because peeps with the rinnigan aren't summoning meteors all day in everyday life, but having almost 360 degree vision being able to see for miles and seeing through stuff sounds fun
To be fair, the byakugan shits all over the sharingan and and rinnegan. Neither can come close to giving xray vision in 360*, with one user able to see AT LEAST 10km. And they were not one of the most powerful of the clan. Not to mention the more detailed Chakra view could probably allow you to copy justu as well, as that's how the sharingan copying works. Except the sharingan let's you do it easily, where you would have to train for that. After all if you can see their Chakra, and their seals, you could copy the Chakra movements, theoretically at least. And with enough training, you could use the movement of others muscles to see where they are going. The sharingan may do this without training, but it's doable with the byakugan. There are many creative uses.
Finally someone else notices that byackugan can copy. I've been saying that for years. I've left several comments on hear about that. Also due to its superior vision. It could proly copy better. Finally someone noticed. And it wouldn't actually require to much A base byackugan has better vision than a 3 tomoe sharingan
@@r.a.panimefan2109 I agree. Everyone sees all the stuff the Sharingan gives the user for mostly free, aside from trauma, but the byakugan has so many creative uses. It really sucks that everyone never really thinks about just what the byakugan could be used for with some critical thinking.
Agreed. Don't forget that being able to see chakra would give them a better understanding on how chakra works, allowing for complex chakra control and the ability alter or create ninjutsu. Plus senjutsu would be easier to learn.
@@BiblioDokATheophile Agreed. It really feels like the hyuuga saw a few uses, and never considered any of the numerous possibilities. Which I guess makes sense in that they seem stuck in their traditions even to their own detriment. But at least 1 character who looked at the byakugan with aome critical thinking would be nice
Let's not forget that the Byakugan can also be golden coloured, or light blue, its color can seemingly vary depending on the user's eye color... That's very nice if you ask me... it adds a little more of personalization.
Its overlooked that sasuke with the sharingan lost to lee with 1 maybe 2 gates open and lee said he was saving gate 3 to beat neji. So the byakugan must have similar increaed perception reaction ability as the sharingan.
This and more. It's stated by kakashi to have a superior piercing eye than sharingan. So ergo it can also track fast moving objects. So Naruto shouldn't have won And hyuga do have nature's. Neji has 3 🔥 🪨 💧 Hinata 🔥 🌩 So ya. Also ao could see kotoamatsukami (shisuis eye)
Being honest as a Neji fan I know they could have executed his death much better. I know they used it as bridge too form the naruto hinata relationship. Based off the fact he knew 3 chakra natures, how much his byakugan had evolved, and his prowess as a prodigy, I think it would have been more meaningful if they let him fight wit gai and lee vs madara using that time frame for naruto somehow slipping in and he risk his live to save him in that situation after showing the extent of his skills as a jonin, with his reasoning for saving naruto being he knows hinata loves him, and he could have said something to this affect still encouraging that future relationship. if they were gonna kill him, still think boruto being trained by neji would''ve been amazing, and as much as i like konohomaru neji as the squad leader would have felt more suitable for team 7 of the next gen. Plus unlike when shikamary became junin we didn't get to see neji really lead a team
Going to be honest didnt read all of the text but in my head canon, the Hyuga are forbidden from using any techniques other than byakugan based ones, granted that is just head canon but it is why i think Neji never used his chakra natures
@@psio123 That could make sense, but hinata made the water needles so I think they could he could have made some techniques based off it. Like one of his chakra natures for example i believe was earth so he could have maybe used it in combination with the trigrams palms a technique where when they step in range it activates a justsu that would trap their feet so they can't avoid the attack. The other nature was fire so he could have made fire needles or maybe he could have combined that with the gale palm adding the fire to make it add to the damage and create a cover for the intial purpose of the gale palm making it look like a basic fire justu. Another concept is maybe he condense chakra of fire nature to a very small point at the finger and with a direct hit it pours the chakra into the body spreading it thru the points finally flames bursting out thru each charka point of the body. I feel they really could have had him expand on the justu of the hyuga clan as well as them making one of his purposes to show the clan that they should be united instead of a higher lower branch system, or maybe instead gains permission to create and find new methods to enhance the justus of the hyuga. of course this all just what i wish could've happened but your likely correct with your assumption as to why he didnt use those chakra natures.
@@H.S.M.ShinzoVirtuoSoul water needles were filler or anime only if I remember, so im not sure whether that technique is canon or not but nevertheless i like your ideas
@@psio123 Appreciate it, and I'm pretty sure you might be right bout water needles being filler. It's just a shame to have a character that had so much potential and who they low key hyped up just for him to die to a branch. I know having him interact wit boruto alone would have been interesting nonetheless seeing how his personality may differ in comparison to his norm kinda like borutos and himawaris grandpa. Definitely a missed opportunity, plus i rocked wit the hyuga clan so wished they flushed it out more.
@@bonaventuretindin8494 well yeah he's hamura last main descendant and he wants to mate with hinata another hamura descendant....hamura was kaguya son so....the hyuga have byakugan cause she does and so did her sons...
I think it would be nice if we got some focused development with the Byakugan in Boruto, seeing as it's something the Otsutsuki possess. It would be nice if it got a buff or two, or just a bit more world building seeing as Boruto and Himawari are part Hyuga and Hima actually has it.
3:24 Woah this blew my mind wtf. I've watched Naruto several times over and never knew that this could be done that's stupid impressive, kinda changes my opinions on the byakugan tbh. I feel like the sharingan is the obvious ez choice but a byakugan in the right hands is ferocious.
I love how people don't realize hinata had wind lightning and even fire release as a hyuga and hamura descendant and that's why boruto knows lightning style...her clans logo is a red semi cloud in a yellow circle which was on the side arm of her hoodie uniform as a 12 year old kid..it actually makes sense...boruto even shouts hamura when using fire release from the scientific ninja tool vs momoshiki...ironic isn't it....people don't seem to realize this...hinata created the twin lion fists using lightning and wind releases at the same time...the way naruto created the rasen shuriken...because we never see hyuga use fire style we never realized they created fire style not the uchihas who use it all the time...ironically....
why people forget always the shugohakke... is the coolest move create a huge development for Hinata... and is the hakkesho on steroids... can repel huge object or hit tiny insects
What about the protective 8 trigrams thing? Was there two anime only moves in that one episode, or are they the same move? Because I’m pretty sure the protective 8 trigrams was a thing where Hinata used her “hyper flexibility” and moving her arms really fast so she covers a 360 degree area? I could be remembering wrong though.
The Byakugan is so underrated, unlike the Sharingan, it was never explored. I know alot of people r gonna be angry about this but the Tenseigan >>> the Rinnegan. Idc🤷🏽♀️
Yeah same thinking since boruto can also use gentle fist because while growing up he train in hyuga residence with hima.. gale palm air of boruto I thinking about it if that jutsu is made through naruto side or hinata since both hinata and naruto can use wind
Ngl it’s simple the byakugan could have been upgraded to allow you to control the flow of charka it could have been like an early karma mark absorbing and displacing charka and Justus
It has better range than the og sharingan in part 1...before we learned about kamui amaterasu susanno ect....then it was foolish but to be fair kaguya had it hamura had it an in boruto momoshiki and isshiki had it too...ko ao hanabi neji hinata hisashi hiyashi all had it
So if someone with a Byakugan versed someone with a Susano would the be able bypass their defense? The Susano is technically a manifestation of chakra?
It doesn't make sense to me why people don't like to hold explanation for the background. Because let's be honest to you honestly here. It never made sense why this world would have such strange eye powers
You actuality have the best style of naruto information dissemination, and I watch everybody so I might know what I'm talking about lol keep up the amazing job you can be out naru-dex and get this YT$ my brother
800 meters see through object ( except special coating or special smoke) that's make a different between byakugan and sharingan. also can see in dark, chakra nodes, clairvoyance, byakugan has ability to scan the area and see the smallest object. but no movement prediction or kinetic vision like sharingan, red cloak naruto totally escape neji sight in Chuunin final, while he still can keep up with 5th gate Lee. Naruto is way faster than Lee.
Everyone talks about how Neji could have deflected the wood release in the war arc. But literally before he dies he uses rotation to block pieces of wood and it flies through his rotation and knocks off his headband. Proving that the rotation wouldn't have worked. And since he'd be rotating if Neji would try and deflected the sticks when trying to protect Hinata and Naruto it would either A: Hit him anyway or B: The rotation would just circulate it toward Hinata and Naruto faster. Another thing, Hiashi right before Neji is hit with the wood release says that neither Neji or Hinata would be able to stop it. People down plays Neji's death when in reality there was literally nothing else anyone could do... the fact that Neji jumped in front of it in the first place is so heart breaking but also completely rounds out his character arc. So either Neji died or Hinata and Naruto died. Hate that Neji died but there was literally nothing else he could do to protect them.
I think people's frustration lies with the fact that he *should* have been able to stop it, based on what we know about his abilities. They just decided to kill Neji and said "it was impossible to stop this attack without cover" so they could justify it, when it just feels kinda cheap after the initial reaction.
I wouldn't say these jutsu are made from the byakugan more so abilities that were made to compliment the byakugan itself. Small thing but figured I'd say it.
i forget that Hinata also development Kaiten alternative since she still didnt learn Kaiten yet, she create her own kaiten by rapidly swing her arm creating chakra net line that protect her like kaiten
The Hyuga had some of the most useful and deadly abilities, and were the strongest in the Leaf village (according to Part 1) and then they basically never showed up again or got to do anything meaningful or interesting. And you'd think that, if the statements about Gentle Fist in Part 1 were true, and continued to be true for the whole series, that the Hyuga would be able to ignore durability and power creep in most cases by nailing strong enemies right in the Tenketsu; killing them in one blow, stopping the flow of Chakra, *STEALING* Chakra, paralysing the target... they could have been super powerful, but they basically didn't exist in Shippuden. 🗿
See I think that's what Boruto has in his eye is that final form Byakugan that you were talking about about 12 minutes into the video I know there's no way I'll be able to pronounce that name so I'm not even going to try lol I think he got it because he was going to have the Byakugan originally when he was born but because henta had that guy on the moon put his hand into her and put some of his chakra into her I think it made Boruto have that Byakugan
He says the many abilities of the byakuyan but to me everything that he mention after the visuals infrared and 360 with one blindspot, the rest sounds more like techniques from the Hyuga clan and not an ability coming from the eyes.
It's because mph is easier to comprehend in the west. I use metric for sizes and some stuff. Meters is not to awfully hard to process. It's a little more than a yard. But kph is not as easy to grasp. For us If he did that I'd have to go and start running conversions.
