I love that no matter what Johnny never has said anything negative about Mr Miyagi and when training he was saying how boring Miyagi Do was but when he realized how badass Mr Miyagi was he went right back to training, wherever Mr Miyagi is he’s proud of Daniel for hashing things out with all 3 of his former rivals much like Miyagi did with Sato
@@tandy9631 I said he didn’t apologise to Daniel for Mr Miyagi, he only apologised to Daniel do you know what “slope” means, cuz he yelled that to Mr Miyagi in the movie and never apologised on his behalf as its abusive and kinda racist. He could’ve been like “I’m also very sorry for calling Mr Miyagi all the things I said then” or something like that
@@tom.preedy I was talking about the show cobra Kai genius, also it’s clear that Mike is sorry for all the messed up shit he did, chosen never apologised for fighting mr miyagi? The show is obviously redeeming former rivals, although I do agree he was moving crazy in karate kid 3
You know Mr. Miyagi isn't just a character in a show...he literally is the spiritual representation of how we can achieve self-actualized balance and development as decent human beings.
They did Mr. Miyagi justice, was very tasteful. Though I swear whenever they mentioned him in the series, I teared up. I was 4 yrs old back in 84 when I saw the first movie. Damn the feels, man. I didn't have a dad that I knew, he was my dad. Best teacher! RIP Pat Morita san.
One thing I was worried about when this show was announced was how they would handle Miyagi and Pat Morita's legacy, but they really handled it well. Daniel is still occasionally a dumbass and some of Miyagi's lessons that we've already seen are recontextualized in his adult life
"An Daniel San, Miyagi have great faith in you" THIS WAS THE MOMENT! The moment that Miyagi had forseen when Daniel had finally reached his full potential and they couldn't stand against him...
The ONE and BELOVED Mr. Miyagi. A TRUE karate grandmaster and a TREASURE of a teacher. In all of his fights from Karate Kid I to IV no opponent, no matter how good he was, could even lay a finger on him. He never fought with his fists or kicks, but with his brain, his heart, his soul, his whole existence. Always utilizing the PURE nature and power of the REAL Karate. That's why he never had an equal! Mr. Miyagi FOREVER! May you be at peace for all eternity! Thank you, Mr. Miyagi ... 🙏
True Mr Miyagi is the 🐐 and the strongest character in the Cobra kai and Karate kid universe but I'd say Sato Toguchi and Master Kim Sun Yung are on Mr Miyagis level of Strength
Technically mr miyagi got hit once in karate kid II during his fight with chozen. After chozen let go of Daniel and Mr miyagi turned his back to check on Daniel chozen hit mr miyagi in the back with the handle of the spear but when he was facing his opponent’s he never got hit
I like when they yell Banzai and he fades off. Reminds me of when I was a kid watching the movies. I watched all the movies over again. Mr Miyagi proves that people can be treated like a sin without having to be a biological dad.
The one clip which is missing from this great throw back to Mr. Myagi is Johnny using the Myagi blocking techniques when he is fighting Silver at the old Cobra Kai dojo
@@michaelgiannace1827 Oh ok, that explains it, that's happening more and more these days, funny you say that because I just found out a friend of mine got his facebook hacked today, it's crazy how many douchebags are out there, trying to steal your personal information, you can't do anything on here anymore without worrying about that crap!
Johnny: “This sucks. Why do I have to paint this wall?” Daniel: “No one was more badass than Mr. Miyagi.” Johnny: “You right. I’mma go paint this wall.”
I respect Miyagi's karate lessons: a combination of strength/aggression combined with discipline/self-control. It's not all about fighting your opponent---it's about self-respect and honor.
To me, this is pure nostalgia and brings tears to my eyes that everyone remembers Mr. Miyagi and respects him. I believe they made Cobra Kai as a remembrance to him. I love everything about the series.
I appreciate everything i saw in karate kid 1,2,3 and cobra Kai it's truly a blessing to experience everyone in all i feel like im in the cast as well ❤ thanks for making it worth watching to all involved can't get enough 2023
"I miss you, miyagi! We will see you again. Sometimes, we are the zaterra, they are very chameleon are the one of them students. May your best of mk championship." -Reptile (to Miyagi.)
At 10 years old, I thought the Jackie Chan Karate kid was the only one then I was introduced to the OGs and Im glad I was because watching this show is so nostalgic!! Miyagi Forever!!
Cobra Kai Was And Still Is Equivalent To The Dark Side Of The Force! "Cobra Kai May Make You Stronger, Tougher, But It Will Also Get You Into Trouble."
Different men had a impact in my life but only two gave me what i was looking for in my entire life those two men were my best friends/grandpa's and became and were what i never had in my life a dad Frank and Max still missing them till this day and doing something to keep and honoring their memories always 22:46
Being a martial artist in the past ( And I am still one in spirit), I like to believe I am a very privileged human being for experiencing all the lessons that Martial Arts, the Karate Kid movies, and now Cobra Kai have taught me throughout the years. Everything shown here is timeless. I want to commend all the cast members and producers for bringing it all back to this new generation, in my opinion, the ones who need the most.
