And McGahey's call.....well He is the Avs radio guy....of course He is going to lose his mind. lol I am an Av's fan in NB Canada and have listened to Cuthbert since I was a kid and think He is the best in the business right now, and His call of the final min of game 6 gives me chills every time I hear it . Too bad Gary Thorne wasn't still available to call the ESPN games . His calls in 96 and 2001 are legendary . #AVSNATION

Maroon should have been called with a major…it was intentional no doubt. Avs did a great job all season and shined in the playoffs! Not one ‘analyst’ gave them praise or credit or picked them during play. Well, Lord Stanley’s Cup is back in the thin air, a mile high in Colorado! Well done Avs!! The Avs, known for their offence the entire season. The Bolts had 27 minuets and 32 seconds to tie the game up AND THEY COULD NOT DO IT. The Avs defense was so underrated. Turned out to be sleepers, THE BEST defense in the league! The Avs defense wont be underrated next year baby. They just signed their core players. What is the rest of the league going to do now? This gives me chills over six weeks later. Oh my gosh. It was so thrilling to see them win. The international ones were beautiful. My favorite was when the Altitude radio broadcasters were screaming with excitement. It's been a long journey, battling through the ugliest of seasons, to heartbreak in the playoffs, and now we are finally champions! Also, Good Stick, Lehky!

Seriously, play the damn game. They spent so much time whining about the refs... every goal... every contact... every play... whining and crying. Maroon should have been watching the rest of the game from the locker room. Stamkos should have gotten an unsportsmanlike slap-shotting the puck at the ref after he called an obvious boarding penalty. Just stop, grow up, play the damn game. Every year the SCF goes this way, the refs pocket their whistles and let stuff go that would be called 9 times out of 10 the rest of the year. You'd think after 3 consecutive trips to the finals these crybabies would know this. Every year... every damn year. "Bellemare was tripped" I swear tampa fans and announcers are the most blind people ever.

A couple of things I wanna say. First of all, I seen EJ Hradek talk a WHOLE Lotta hockey over the years but I NEVER HEARD him call a goal before. Pretty Unique even though he has a Good PxP voice. And you expect the voice of the losing team to Announce with sorrow but dignity that the Opposing team has won and Dave Miskin does it like a Professional as he Congratulated the Avs on Winning the Cup. I like how He's Moved on from the Expected Dynasty for those past 2 years and Acknowledges Colorado for their first title since 2001.

Pat Foley (Retired Blackhawks play by play guy ) probably would have had fantastic calls during the Stanley Cup Finals

No penalties after the goal. Referee gets bumped,and a nice slash in front of the net. The only call consistent with regular is hooking.

I wonder what the NHL will do about Maroon for his assault in game 6 after the Avalanche scored. I know if it had been the Avalanche player they would have taken him out of the game and fined, but as we seen through out these playoffs whoever is playing the Avalanche don't have to follow any rules.

Damn, I actually used to like TB and some of their players, but after watching them cry like a totally spoiled child over everything that they got away with the last 2 years, I'm done liking them... I mean, holy sh**, they simply couldn't handle losing the cup, as if they were owed it... From what I saw all season (even last season), Colorado was the best team in the league no questions! TB was not the best team the last 3 years, but peaked in the playoffs.
