If Nintendo really wanted to desperately force us to play Vanilla Lake, they should've saved it for the base game way back in 2014. If Tour is still gonna get constant updates regarding new courses (non-city), at least don't waste all that effort on a mobile game just to put in some generic garbage in the console.
Bowser Castle 3 SNES Remake is truly amazing. Finally a worthy remake for an SNES track in MKT. With this version, I really hope it will be in the Booster Courses Pass. We would thus have the very first SNES circuit with anti-gravity, since the remake is so well suited.
I would prefer this course over Vanilla Lake for the BCP. Surprisingly, the wiki shows that GBA Bowser's Castle 4 is also coming to tour with a different design compared to GBA Bowser's Castle 1, 2, & 3 in Tour.
It literally was (probably). RMX Bowser's Castle 1 was finished before Tour released, based on when its course renders were made, and that uses the GBA aesthetic when every other RMX track uses a SNES one. So the decision to remake a SNES Bowser's Castle came much later...and they gave it the most elaborate remake out of any SNES track, with significant elevation added. Pretty sure that's a clear sign they made the call to remake it so that it could be in the BCP, too
it should be noted that GBA BC4 is pinned to return this tour, the course is set in ruins design using the GBA BC theming to make it stand out against the others so personally can't wait for both!
Look's incredible!! I can't wait to race on this track in the next tour. Definitely SNES Bowsers Castle 3 will be the last SNES track in the BCP. It is that just by looking at it you can see that they have redesigned it with Mario Kart 8 DX in mind, the track screams antigravity. I have been playing Mario Kart 8 since it came out on Wii U and I have to say that I am very happy and excited that after 8 years there is finally going to be a retro Bowser's Castle
Nice vid Swift. I'm excited to play this track in tour and very excited to play it in the bcp in mk8 deluxe. This will make for a great addition to the bcp!
Oooo one detail I noticed that looks really cool is that when you drive through the beginning section through the lava waterfalls (lavafalls?), you get a clear shot of the volcano sitting at the very end of that section. You can see it at 6:58, it looks very cool
I would honestly be shocked if this wasn't the SNES track, considering that Nintendo always likes to add a newer Tour track (whether it be a retro/completely new track) to the game as shown with DS Mario Circuit in Wave 4. Also, if Nintendo is wanting to have all themed tracks aka desert theme, winter/snow theme, ghost theme, choco theme, water theme etc., having a bowser castle track just makes the most sense at this point as we haven't had a lava theme track yet.
Even just from the preview picture it looked so good that you could barely tell it's SNES Bowser's Castle 3, but the trailer still managed to surpass my expectations so yeah, would be suprised if it weren't coming to 8 Deluxe as well!
This track is 3-Dimensional even in Tour (unlike the other SNES tracks). It’s a better fit for BCP than the rest of SNES tracks, even Mario Circuit 3 from Wave 2.
those bone piranha plants deconfirm bone dry dunes from 8 coming over… seemed unlikely at first because of no anti gravity but datamines pointed to bone dry dunes because of those piranha plants
@@cam935n Mario Kart Tour's physics work differently to Mario Kart 8's. They could easily handle most of Mario Kart 8's original courses, but not the ones which have you go on walls or upside down (which for some sections they could remove or flatten depending on if it's optional or required).
@@cam935n just tilt the ribs 45º and it’s all okay, Bone Dry Dunes uses its antigravity very sparingly to the point of not really being important to the course, the course can function just fine without it, it’s not like U Mario Circuit where you have to go full upside down for the whole half of the map
I wonder if this track looks so different from it's original appearance solely because they decided to copy paste the gba bowser castle 1 from 7 and kept that theme with 2 and 3 while upgrading every other gba track whilst doing the opposite with every other snes track
This remake of BC3 is looking really impressive, the newly added elevation changes and details add so much to the original track. I can’t wait to play this in Tour this upcoming Wednesday! Also great video Swiftjar, you never cease to produce amazing content for Mario Kart fans!
I have a feeling this will be the last SNES track. Originally I was thinking Koopa Beach or Mario Circuit 2, but SNES Bowser's Castle 3 releases not too long before wave 5, which has the last SNES track and we haven't gotten a retro Bowser's Castle yet just makes me think this is gonna get into the BCP. And also looking at the way the track is designed, it just looks like it was made with anit gravity in mind with the way the walls and track twist up.
This redesign of the track looks incredible! It has so much more elevation and detail, almost like Bowser's castle from the movie! I'd definitely be happy for this in the booster course pass!
The blank spots are for new non-city courses, not placeholders for classic courses. The amount of blank spots lines up perfectly with the amount of single-route courses datamined for Mario Kart Tour.
@@harrybest2041 ...maybe. Tour has at least one extra course slot, though it's theorized mobnu was scrapped, as the only assets tied explicitly to it were Moray test assets, and Piranha Plant Cove already makes use of underwater theming and uses a separate Moray asset. But I think it's way too soon to say any track has definitively been scrapped
@@PikaPhantomVG Accotding to the ID gaps, it's likely that there's a completely seperate course from MobNU Which we don't know anything about. Not every course has assets in the files before they release.
It's pretty much a meme at this point that all the tracks in the BCP are from Tour. But, I'm willing to let it slide just this once because this one looks AMAZING!
5:30 Yes! Yes! I'm technically going with SNES Bowser's Castle 3, because it's the First SNES Track to have elevation than majority of SNES tracks are just really flat. I hope SNES Bowser's Castle will come to the Booster Course Pass on Wave 5 and finally have Elevation Anti Gravity. And, even I still want another Bowser's Castle the (GCN or Wii) for wave 6, because of the Spiny Shell Cup since, that Cup Icon fits with the Intense and Hards tracks to have a grand finale for DLC.
wow its very different and honestly it looks good like they put some height in the SNES course unlike some of the others *cough Mario Circuit 3 cough* It feels like a whole new course and the way SNES and GBA courses could be and make things interesting. No idea if it was come to the BCP but id rather have this than Vanilla Lake Plus you could drop kamek with it and it works
I’m hyped for Bowser’s Castle 3 like it looks really impressive for a SNES remake. Also noticed GBA Bowser’s Castle 4 is there. Man so many good tracks that still unfortunately won’t make it to the BCP…
With GBA BC4 coming in the same tour, I still have hope that there'll be a BCP 2. Because it's kinda odd that they decided to remake BC4 in such a unique way compared to the other GBA BCs and yet there is no place for it to go in the BCP since the final GBA slot is Sunset Wilds (which, looking at it now, seems very boring in comparison layout-wise). And if it isn't in a BCP 2, it'll be stuck in MKT until they either a.) bring it back into the next installment of Mario Kart, or b.) Shut the game down, making it so you can never play the course until another Mario Kart game rolls around, and even then it doesn't have a 100% chance of showing up unless they bring every course back
im upset by the fact there have not been to many Double dash remakes in the BCP at all. I really wanted to see Bowser castle DD Warios colosseum Daisy cruise ship mushroom city or bridge and the most important track Rainbow Road why do they keep acting like Double dash does not exist.
@@Swiftjar Do you believe a 2nd BCP is possible with maybe less waves? I just think this BCP is focusing a tour i mean thats ok but other games should get more spot light like Double Dash they keep trying to wipe it from history.
Compared to the other SNES tracks Bowsers castle 3 is the coolest looking remake of a SNES track that I’ve ever seen and do I think it will be in the Booster Course Pass for MK8D Yes Absolutely 100% I think it will.
Great video swiftjar having seen the trailer today bowsers castle 3 from the snes looks even more impressive.imagine what it could look like if it comes to the BCP fingers crossed🤞.As long as this comes and we get GCN daisy cruiser in wave 5 I will be happy. I feel there isn’t enough GCN courses in the BCP yet either. Also I know it’s been pretty accurate thus far but could they surprise and switch the prefix data mine around for the final 2 waves surely they can change there minds still wanting airship fortress to come over😊
I think that SNES BC will debut in BCP and will have some changes, like thwomps and other enemies in the course. Most likely, we will see BC in wave 5 and with new driver Hammer bro, because he’s a Bowser’s Minion.
I think this shows what is to come and don't forget we still haven't got snes mario circuit 4 and snes ghost Valley 3 yet which makes me wonder if they will do a complete glow up of those 2 like there is alot they can do like turning half snes ghost valley 3 into a boo mansion and elevating it
I'm just happy a SNES BC course is getting remade at all. Nintendo has always favored GBA courses. Even the RMX course is based off GBA. (And the only other BC that has made it as a retro is N64 - also MK7 if you count Tour.)
This MUST be the last SNES track on BCP. The elevation and slopes are all designed with MK8 in mind. The 3D assets reminds me of Mario 3D Land. Also the volcano instead of just mountains is a nice addition, it makes sense for a lava themed course
I never thought I’d ever say it, but I’m actually hyped for a SNES track. This looks simply wonderful and almost seems like it was designed with 8 Deluxe in mind, with the steep angles and also that the ID gap which left people suspecting we’d get a Bowser’s Castle only appeared in Tour after the BCP started I believe. I think one other reason that this track may be more likely to get in over any other SNES track is actually the starting banner, as it has a different design to all other Tour SNES tracks’ banners, which while a very small thing, I think it differentiates it.
With the mii tour trailer hinting at next waves track. It seems to be another Bowser tour? What are the chances of GCN Bowser's Castle making an appearance? I hope so as not only is it long overdue for a remake but it'll bump it's chances at returning in the BCP
@@courage1363 I do apologise. I was hoping for the best, you cannot deny where I was coming from to think that with the Lemmy and Morton mii suit and another potential Bowser tour. So no I wasn't "dead wrong" it was a theory
Well at least we got a fire course No. 3 with castle 🏰🔥. That's confirmed to. . . Wave 5. . . But the good thing is. Dry Dry Ruins Wii and Koopa Cape Wii are still teaming up for wave 5 as well.
There are only two more Wii courses left. One is Koopa Cape (which was in the banner) and the other is Wii Rainbow Road (going from the placement of the final Wii course in the original course order). It's very *very* unlikely that we'll see Dry Dry Ruins, as I don't think they ever considered that course or Koopa Cape to end off the Booster Course Pass at any point in development.
@@harrybest2041 mmm. . . You again. . You trying to piss me off like last time. . If Koopa Cape teams up with dry dry Ruins as final two wii courses. . At the end of first booster course pass. . I'm gonna be pissed at everyone cause it's almost finished. . You taking sides with Nintendo and they understand what y'all wanted. . And they just full of bullshit 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. Following your ideas and everyone else's ideas. 😡😡😡😡😡😡. When this finished I'm beaten everyone's a** my fist really really wanna do some damage. . .😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
