wish this game had form changes or something extra for SSR/5 stars. Otherwise everyone just has the same quality ult animations but SSR's just have more damage
A lot of these animations don't feel like ultimate animations. I know they said they held back on visual effects because they didn't want to clutter the screen, but I think they could afford to be flashier with the units attacks, and their animations. A good example I feel is Lycan's ult. 1:58 excellent anticipation on his legs charging up, with a nice paning shot of moving down his leg, as we see the components move around, and become active as it charges up. The build up is paid off with a high energy, vicious forward assault. Then finishes them off by slamming into them, causing an ice shattering dive, with a cool landing to boot. My only conplaint is that each kick from those legs could be just a little *meatier* when they hit the enemy. Compared to Grace at 4:03, who I personally believe has one of the weakest performing ults. It start with her bending down, looking at the player before stand up while just... staring at a grenade while it's about to explode. Granted, there is an electric impact frame while the grenade is charging up, so you'd think it's about to go crazy. Then she lightly tosses it forward while doing a back hand spring, and the grenade has next to no impact when it explodes. Lackluster build-up, weak poses, too little movement, and bad payoff. That more or less feels like the case for many of these characters. And for most, the attacks they they perform for their ultimate, do not feel all that different from their refular attacks, or skills.
Yeah, many of these do actually look blank. Hope they will learn how to make ults that are animated well and not flashy at the same time. I believe making the animation duration slighly faster will help some. For example, Grace shows a grenade and then throws it immediately after.
Bruh am I the only one who just loves her animation the most bc of how simple it is, the voice in the bg sound like her thoughts as she's just looking at the grenade, I love it sm

I think they struck a great balance between charatcer and FX animation. A lot of the animation is just pitch perfect poses with big anticipation, while showing a bit of character acting, followed by a big show of FX. Its not the most original formula, but they just nail it everytime.
Bro I am a PGR and wuwa player but don't be toxic please, each game has its charm, if you like it then it is okay, it is your opinion but don't go degrading games or comparing them with bad I tent ions. You would only bring a bad or negative view to the wuwa playerbase
