CHiPs '99 Full Movie: drive.google.c...
These are the intros from CHiPs Seasons 1-6 (1977-1983) and CHiPs '99. This video is a re-upload of one of my videos because the quality of the old one was not high enough. I hope you enjoy this version with higher quality and remastered audio.

I want to go back and do it all over ....The 70’s and 80’s were my decades and they were the best years of my life. America was absolutely a different place back then. It was still a treat then to get 30 cents from mom and walk uptown to the gas station to get a Coca-Cola or Pepsi or to the ice cream shop and get a CMP ice cream. We truly did not lock our doors and stayed out till after dark with our bikes and on Halloween we all went trick-or-treating without our parents at night in the cold and it was great fun.. In the summer we played outside all day and all night, The only way my mom got us home to eat was a big brass bell she had outside the sliding glass doors that she would ring to get out attention to come home for dinner. I remember wonderful 4th of July celebrations when mom took us to the ball park and we laid on blankets to watch the fireworks. And of course Christmas and even though it was tuff for my mom raising us she always made sure we had a great holiday . Even Easter was special in America back then... as we get older we started to go see the movies and we really did have the best movies. ( Jaws, Close Encounters, , Raiders of the lost Ark, James bond, Star Wars, Star Trek, Aliens, Predator, planet of the apes, E.T, The terminator, The goonies, Friday the 13th, Batman, Back to the future . ...To name a few.....The TV show line up on the networks were fabulous ( this was before you got 500 channels like you do today and still nothing on is good) we had Dallas, knots Landing, Falcon crest, laverne and Shirley, happy days, WKRP in Cincinnati, cheers, mash, The Waltons, Little house on the prairie, Star Trek, Lost in space and many more. And every night of the week a network would compete and have for example, Monday night at the movies! Tuesday night at the movies and they would show a major movie release. we had real holidays were we all got together and enjoyed each other’s company. We had great stores that are all but gone now in 2023 and great movie theaters and of course the MALLS! It was not the 80’s without a Mall. My very first few jobs were at the mall. First Macdonald’s and then The Gap!. Yes sir those days were GREAT! and I am very lucky to have lived them .... today I don’t even see kids outside and everyone is in fear for saftey from crazy people.... I do not recognize America anymore. God Bless us all ! (If you can even say that anymore)

I just noticed that car hauler at 1:15 ....my guess is those could be new cars from the Ford factory, great ones there! I see a sweet looking Lincoln Town Car (a.k.a. Continental Town Car), possibly with a Country Squire station wagon in front of it, then behind it looks like possibly a Ford Grenada, and in the front it looks like an Econoline van...can't really make out what the ones on the bottom are though except for possibly a Ford LTD...but what's strange is it looks like those cars don't have hub caps, so maybe they're not new, hard to tell (unless back then those were kept inside the car and added on later after they got to their dealerships)...

My favourite episode is when Ponch's former high school principal recognised him after the latter pulled him over for speeding. He was surprised to see Ponch working as a highway patrol officer because he had held a reputation for causing trouble during his high school days, and the principal had wrongly predicted Ponch would never amount to anything. Ponch still gave him a speeding ticket, but the principal thought he was doing it out of spite.

Whenever I encounter a motorcycle cop, like at a stop light or whatever, I'll take a moment to call up a recording of the Season 1 intro and hit play as the light turns green, blasting it out on the bike's stereo system as I ride next to the guy for a couple of minutes. 100% giant ear-to-ear grin from every single motorcycle cop I've done this to. Loved this show for most of existence. Unfortunately, the departure of John, the introduction of Tom Reilly with Bruce Penhall becoming the de facto "Cousin Oliver" and increasingly hokey and ridiculous plot lines, made anything after season four unwatchable for me.
@demetriusdillard2863
@demetriusdillard2863 Год назад
I agree. Tom Reilly's off-camera arrest in December of '82 (for possession of and driving under the influence of Quaaludes) was indeed an embarrassment as well as the final straw for "CHiPs," though Bruce Penhall did add some much-needed youthful energy and enthusiasm to the ailing crime drama (Reilly wasn't fired from "CHiPs," but his role as CHP motorcycle officer Bobby "Hot Dog" Nelson was significantly reduced as a result of his well-publicized arrest, thus allowing Penhall's recurring role as aspiring CHP rookie Bruce Nelson--Bobby's younger brother--to be expanded considerably). Despite Penhall's best efforts, NBC canceled "CHiPs" in the spring of '83 after six seasons and 139 episodes due to declining ratings as well as the fallout that had generated from the negative publicity surrounding Reilly's embarrassing arrest.

It sure as hell wasn't during the late seventies and early eighties (thanks to the numerous screw-ups--such as the lavish but pricey stinkbomb "Supertrain" and, of course, the infamous "Hello, Larry"--all perpetrated by NBC's then head honcho, the late Fred Silverman). Along with "Real People" and "Diff'rent Strokes," "CHiPs" was one of NBC's very few successes during that otherwise tumultuous (not to mention uncertain) period in NBC's history.

- “CHiPs” was my favourite afternoon TV show in my teenage years! But my favourite intro is missing here in this video, because it was the theme of Season 3-5 with that great deep DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMM-DRUMMTS at the beginning! I've really loved it!❤️😍🥰 And the original intros of Season 6 (A & B versions) are still missing here, because what we can hear is just the inpaste of Season 2's theme, not the original. Even the Season 3-5's theme of the show are just similar, BUT NOT THE SAME(!) like the Season 2's you put here in! The difference of S2's and S3-5' are the drums at the beginning (S2 higher sounded drum, S3-5 deep drum) & the main music instrument during the main starring are not so "space styled" as in S2. The origonal S6 intro is 100% the same as the S3-5's, but at the beginning the deep drums are cutted out, and instead of them was inserted a short summary (short scene cuts of the coming episode) with another background soundtrack before the S6 intro was begun. Listen the differences! ☝🏼👀 Season 3-5 intro (ORIGINAL): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PFbYHaNVf5A.html Season 6 intro (with summary): S6/A-version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KekVrkXGYFw.html S6/B-version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vL92wIBG3ec.html

I like to see c.h.i.p.s vs fast and furious, now that would make a great movie

"CHiPs" was the second acronym I learned (The first was "laser", which turned up in one episode, BTW)

s2 and beyond theme song was the actual level of groove the series needed. Less jazzy horns, more disco funk..

I think there is one season 6 intro missing (and perhaps, a few from seasons 2-5 as well): those that use the standard-length version of the theme tune from season 1.

No. This is every intro ever used. I have watched every episode of the show and made sure that I included every intro. The season 1 music was made by various composers while seasons 2-6 were done by Alan Silvestri.

@@SmallPersonRoo Then I wonder if what I saw may have been a syndication/cable rerun-related error?

@@SmallPersonRoo : - Sorry Dude, it is really nice from you that you make a video like this, BUT you're wrong, and @ClassicTVMan1981X has right: Season 6 intros (A)(B) in this video are just the inpaste of Season 2 here, and not the original, even the Season 3-5 Intros of the show are (!)just similar, but not the same(!) like Season 2's, you've put here in! These are the ORIGINAL Intros of the show what we both miss from your video. Listen the differences! Season 3-5 intro (the Original): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PFbYHaNVf5A.html Season 6 intro (with summary): S6/A version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KekVrkXGYFw.html S6/B version: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vL92wIBG3ec.html
