Алексе́й Никола́евич Yeah because I was shook, I watched the adventures of captain spirit play through so many times so when this episode came out I was like “oh wait, maybe Chris and Daniel will meet up and find they both have powers and be best friends and stuff” but from Daniels point of view Chris has no powers, however, There still might be a small chance that he may unlock some sort of ability other than telekinesis or whatever, maybe some ability corresponding to his own hero, captain spirit, again, just speculating things well not really but oh well

@@TheIndigoSystem Technically, this was self defense. The cop acted like he wanted to run them over, instead of just chasing them.And they stood still the entire scene, so it's not like speeding up that much was necessary or warranted.

@@morganadays3530 I can relate. I got the worst ending too and I don't wanna keep on playing unless I change what I did. Even though this is not how I am supposed to play this game...

While this ending is bad due to Chris being hurt, the fact that the cops ran a car on the Diaz brothers so fast (it could be considered attempt murder) and once again committed an act of cop violence by running over Chris when Sean and Daniel were STANDING STILL and doing nothing to even stop them, I believe to the media and possible justice, it will sound better for the boys. However, I still think 1st ending is better.

The people who laughed at this are just evil, I feel so sorry for both Chris AND Daniel, Daniel lost his ONLY friend and him knowing that he lied to him, Daniel couldn't even do anything because he had to run, Chris felt betrayed and died almost the same way his mom did. This is the most depressing and beautiful scene I have ever seen in a game. I can't stop crying I cant watch this video without sobbing 😭😭😭

Generalkidd Why do you even play these games? The whole point is the choices you make have consequences, which you should continue to play through the consequences because in real life you can’t go back and choose a better option lol. Chris got Smuckered by the car in my ending and it made me feel like shit, but the safe ending sounds too retarded to get anyways so I’ll live with the consequences.

Its bugged, you need to say to Daniel to tell chris the truth and go to your grandparents house, if Just before you enter karen's room sean say "So, did you settle things straight with Chris" He Will not get hurt, if sean doesn't say this reload to the market chapter in the menu and try again

Raph well he was leaning forward and in my opinion it was pretty obvious it was a harsh hit to the ribs, arm, leg and he maybe even injured his neck from being pushed back or landed in a bad way

at least it isnt heavy rain where you basically shield the kid by the car and he still gets killed, while somehow you take the most damage and you live. Not actually salty about it, just thought i'd relate it to this game.

That means even though you told Daniel to tell the truth he chose not to obey you. It’s one of the possibilities but I’m not sure what determines if he obeys you or not.

You need to let him use his power at every opportunity. Even little hidden opportunities.

I honestly think the choices are affected even from choices from the first episode. You gotta build a good relationship with Daniel and make him trust you. So when it comes to his powers, he will listen to all the rules. But I think its vital that in the beginning of ep.2 that you tell Daniel that it's okay to use his powers in emergencies. So I guess you gotta play by the rules but be lenient when it comes to emergencies (like when Chris fell from the tree and saving Stephen).

@@ZobahGurly I did that in my playthrough though. I reminded him of the rules but I was lenient whenever it was necessary. Chris was still hit by a car

Now that we're past one episode we have to factor in choices from more than just the ep you're playing in. It might even have been something you did or said in episode 1, tho I personally can't think of what.

@@Alexis-bs4zt what I'm thinking is it's because I lied to him about the dad's death in episode 1, letting him find out through the news. So maybe he doesn't trust us as much and doesn't actually tell Chris. But I don't even remember if we had the choice to tell him earlier on about Esteban

GabeCastro ikr I felt like something was going to go down between Daniel and Chris’s father. I felt like that would have been a more interesting scenario then what we had gotten from Chris’s appearance in this episode. It’s a shame he won’t be joining the brothers in their journey, because I still have no clue if Charles stopped drinking and being abusive towards Chris ☹️

I think the condition the game is looking for is whether or not you overall encouraged Daniel to use his powers. I stepped forward on the cougar and used the key to get into Karen's room. On every other instance of Daniel's powers, I encouraged them, and I got that condition on the results screen.

@Jake L No You guys are so confused...First Concede and then Tell him to Protect the secret and after Daniel...Uses his powers, And Remember to tell him last resort too...before that event and then boom Daniel saves Chris Seriously I saw someone do that and You get that ending

literally. the intensity of each scene is chilling. i literally got goosebumps when daniel saved chris from the car in my play through. the way no words were spoken and it was still so intense. the music in the back mixed with chris’ face expressions was so well done.

It's not bugged. It's just way more complex and is not decided by a few multiple choice questions.

I don't get the first ending, had the second. But I can imagine the game counts how often Daniel is overall allowed to use his power (repair the ship, prank that guy, break the door, let dishes fly, save Stephen, etc). I didn't let him do everything (only the good ones) and he saved Chris. So I think there are too many factors and counters to reduce it to a few rules.

To get the good ending on the 2nd episode you have to treat Daniel well in the 1st as they are all linked. KEY: 1. Confront the bully. 2. Teach Daniel to skip stones and don’t tell him scary things in the forest, treat him well, help him over the tree, ect. Do not steal in the forest car park. 3. Do not get him to beg or distract Doris at the gas station, do not steal or beg at the gas station. DO NOT KICK THE STORE OWNER AND STEAL THE TENT! 4. Promise you won’t lie to him again. 5. Throw the snowball next to him not at him. 5.5 Stop him from killing the cougar. 6. Call him out on cheating playing pirates. 7. Encourage him to use his powers. Don’t knock him for using them. 8. Tell him to stop swearing 9. Be careful about telling him there is a heaven or not and then praying or not praying with grandmother as that becomes a lie. 10. Concede he did the right thing saving Chris. 11. Tell Daniel to tell Chris the truth. 12. Let Daniel use his power to save grandad. OTHER: If you promise something do it. Like buy him a choco-crisp at the gas station. Get him to fix things around the grandparents house using his powers. Just don’t be an ass hole, like splashing him and shit. Doing these things keeps both the characters morally positive, makes Daniel’s and Sean’s relationship strong and encourages Daniel to use his power the right way at the right time and I theorise will make him stronger as practice makes perfect. I am sure in the future there will be a time Daniel will need to act out on his own and depending on the choices that have been made he will either kill a bunch of people or save them. What I love about the good ending is that Daniel does not lament that he has powers but that he does not want to be a superhero because he is worried about making the right decision when to use his powers. He is not scared of his powers anymore. That is him levelling up. SuperWolf still has a long way to go though and needs more training but we know he can now move cars with his power.

@Kay-Jay Simmons 11 is Wrong...You have to protect the Secret and then he will use his powers...He can't be honest if Chris wants to jump in front of the Car and Daniel saves him...that will happen but all 12 are right except for 11

Did you steal or convince Daniel to distract the gas station clerk so you could steal? I think if you lie alot in ep1, it affects Daniel in ep2.

No I didn't steal anything in the gas station, and I don't lie to him

First things first, do not steal anything, and I mean ANYTHING in Episode 1, whether it is the Chock-O-Crisp in the parking lot near the trail or the food in the gas station, and do not knock out Hank Stamper after you escape the office, because knocking out Hank and stealing the camping gear would convince Daniel that its OK to engage in violence and break the law, making him much less likely to actually tell the truth to Chris when you order him to do so. In Episode 2, you must tell him that he can use his powers as a last resort, call him out for cheating when you get the prompt during the pirate board game, prevent him from killing the cougar, tell Daniel to repair the broken ship in the bottle, lift up the rock in the aquarium and re-align the misaligned portrait in the Reynolds' household, concede to Daniel when he uses his power to save Chris from falling to his death, and finally, order Daniel to tell the truth to Chris when you arrive at the Christmas market. After this, feel free to prank Nick after he yells at Finn and Cassidy, as that won't affect Daniel's odds of being honest with Chris. If you did everything right, then when you arrive at the Reynolds' home after getting a gift for Daniel at the Christmas market, Daniel will mention that Chris got very upset and disappointed when he told him the truth, indicating that he did indeed obey you when you told him to be honest with Chris, and Chris will be sitting on the swing near the treehouse, waiting for Sean and Daniel at the very end when you are forced to flee the house after the police track you down, allowing you to get the best possible ending for Episode 2. Fortunately it's possible to encourage him to use his powers (leading to him saving Chris) without killing the cougar. But you do need to prank Nick if you don't kill the cougar. You also need to get him to use his powers in minor places as much as possible. Getting him to be honest maybe easier depending on what you did in Ep1.

Encourage his powers, then he will save Chris.

I think you actually need to encourage him to use his powers a lot, Which I think is dumb, I was strict with him but tolerant when it meant saving a life, basically only use your powers for good, yet he let Chris get hurt.
