I'm happy RU-vid randomly suggested your page to me, I love these videos :D Your narration is funny, like a real sports commentator, and you have a good voice!
Now if they had to climb back down the same pole, that's when the red panda and the binturong would come into their own - they can climb down head first!
I made a GIANT enclosure, big as the hole map. It was full of Siberian tigers and reindeer- yes, they are food. It took like 2 and half hours to decorate. WORTH IT THOUGH.
I like how you test the animals and planet zoo great job and great work! Btw I really like the red panda! I even got a stuff animal of it and a bear stuffed animal!
Agreed! Mechanics of the game mean once an animal starts running/climbing/swimming towards an end goal, they don't stop. Works in my favour for these kind of challenges though!
They 'can', but often refuse to! I tested the lion for this, and they simply refused to climb up the pole, no matter what I put at the top to allure them!
Cats definitely dominated! It's a shame really, if this was realistic, none of the cats would've made it up there, I think the primates may have got the furthest!
Bengal tiger and couger tied for 1st place with gold.🥇🏆 Siberian tiger 🐅 🐯 2nd place with silver medal 🥈 Urasiun lynx 3rd place with bronze medal🥉 jaguar 🐆 4th place Koala 🐨 right down there at the bottom of the leaderboard in 26th place with no medals there at all. To name a few. Koala lagging behind right at the bottom of the leaderboard in 26th and last place (sorry koala.🐨)
I used the in-game climbing pole as a guide for which animals to showcase for this project - the African lion doesn't have this listed as an enrichment for them, so they refuse to use it, even though they can climb!
@@PlasticSwans They don't get climbing enrichment from it, but if I remember correctly it does show up on their mobility map, so they should be able to use it to get to the food on the top.
Indeed it does show up, but getting them to use it in the challenge scenario...probably because the pole was almost 1/3 of a mile long - they wanted no part of it! The other animals that class this as enrichment had no issue
Unfortunately the lions don't class as 'climbing' in Planet Zoo, they don't interact the same way with the climbing pole, as it's not counted as an enrichment item for them, so they refused to take part
@@PlasticSwans which is weird because lions aren’t any worse than tigers at climbing in real life, even though both cats don’t tend to do it very much on account of size
