Am I the only one who appreciate this Hellboy? It looks comic accurate, I mean if you read Hellboy in comics, most of the story, they investigate supernatural places, like odd forests, abandoned cities, unmapped caves, then trap in there becuase of witches or some lovecraftian humanoid creatures, but they start to decode the mystery of those places and finishing their mission. Similar to the movie "In The Tall Grass" and "The Watchers" That's what most Hellboy do. He is paranormal detective/investigator. And most of it are 50% horror, 40% action and 10% humor. Some are almost 60-70% horror. And this Hellboy is the very close to those. Guillermo's Hellboy are actually great, but the story about saving the world from Nazis or Witches summoning alien gods is more like the end game of Hellboy, or what I mean those kind of stories are mostly in the finally or before the finally. Hellboy is actually better to be a series solving paranormal events every 2-4 episodes, depends if it's easy or hard mission. And turn into movies for every important missions and for final act.
@@ЕвгенийФирсов-ю9ь lol I should have worded it better I was on about the appearance of David harbours hellboy, I agree the film just dropped of after seeing ghostgirl spewing.😂😂😂😂
looks like the cheap Blair Witch version of Hellboy who didn't have a budget to make an actual movie. Hey lets do a cabin, in the woods.. and the villian is some gnome guy.
Zero difference between indie/fan made quality. Except writing, fan made is inarguably ALWAYS better. Because it’s written with passion and not cut throat LA trash seeking to shoehorn their ideologies into stories.
@@eolsunderthe villain is literally the exact same in the comics, it’s a low budget film for sure but the last one lost a LOT of money so i can see why they’ve given it to a smaller company with a lower budget
Who knew the original hell boy would be so iconic that this far down the line the first thing my mind said when I saw this one was he doesn’t look right..
@@extrabigman Yup.. Still surprised how Colin is The Penguin,But I really wana see a younger looking Sofia Falcone like the Gotham series,That chick was fine af..Well, this one is a year younger but she don't look like a bad btch...
@jamesrowden303 I also enjoyed Ron Perlman as Hellboy and thought he was made for the role and didn't really enjoy the other Hellboy actor but as is life, time continues on and actors are replaced. Where I thought Henry Cavill was my favorite superman and Ben Affleck being my favorite Batman and felt fans got stiffed with not getting a Zach Snyder JL2 where Superman would have been evil and DCEU has made making horrible decisions the normal
@jamesrowden303 Christopher Reeve is Superman, but Henry Cavill is right up there with him, and I thought Bale did a great job as Batman, but his Batman voice wasn't great in my opinion. What's great about God creating everyone different is that everyone is entitled to their opinion and it's perfectly okay unless someone claims Clooney as the best Batman
And I'm looking forward to Disney and Warner Brothers losing billions of dollars and start selling the rights to characters because I believe they refuse to give them the justice they deserve because of their studio bosses
True fans care, and u will care in twenty years when the new bastardized version of ur bastardized version comes out. Or when and if you actually pick up the book and realize what could of been.
Hell yeah! Who wouldn’t want to see that? Just flattening all the deadites. What do the demons do when they face something worse and more powerful than them?
@@druu988See what you think about the one he did with Wesley Snipes, but he played an actor!? edit+ I checked, it's called True Story, on 2nd thoughts maybe you're right. I just enjoyed it. Borderlands camera work is gonna try to avoid showing how tiny he is.
what ? you must have the wrong aspect ratio comics hellboy looks like someone started carving a face out of stone and stopped after 5min he doesn't look human at all unlike in this
Okay, concerning rings of power, I will make myself clear : you can have this information in the original trilogy of Lords og the Rings, precisely in the first book. Sauron did controls the rings weared by the dwarfs and the humans because he tampered with them while they were forged. He couldn't do that with the elven ones. So Galadriel and the other elven ring bearers weren't at risk.
@@moxiecillin1086 Okay, if I remember corrrectly, Rings Power is in the Second Age but before the War of the Last Alliance. Wait...don't tell me they're not here ?
Right! Yo is trying to justify a shitty looking movie by explaining the accuracy of the character. Not valid and also is he suffering from an eating disorder?
@GriffSpits21 Say what ya like. To fans of the comic, it's more accurate than the other movies! Accurate in terms of darkness! Hellboy shouldn't have been as kid friendly to begin with, and they were decent movies, but way too soft! This is why I love when non fans comment on shit they litterly no nothing about!
it a shitty by the numbers production that they decided to slap the name Star Trek on to trick people into seeing it instead of trying to build something new. It's like calling a show Sopranos - life on the sea, and the only connection is it's about a distance cousin of Tony's life as a deep sea fisherman whose last name is also Soprano.
Yup same here. I’m like finally this looks like the first decent Hellboy made yet. I feel like this is gonna be the best one yet over the other 3. Due to the story alone. Them saying it’s gonna be the darkest one yet I was like eh I doubt it then felt the vibes of the crooked man I was like yes I’m in lol that dude is creepy as fuck. I hope they stick to the story as close as possible. If they do man it’s gonna give people goosebumps man. Some of the shit that happens in that story is creepy as hell. I started reading it again when I saw the trailer last week. Even the picture give me the creeps lol
Kurtzman still the big man being sponsored by the rainbow coalition. Until that's not the case, Trek might not as well exist for me. But we did get to see through a window to an alternate universe when Terry Matalas made the miracle that was Picard S3.
Agreed. Not to mention the fight choreography looks just as bad as the ones in Ahsoka did. They aren't even trying any more. 17:10 His arm just stays locked in place as she slowly moves to the side with her head. C'mon man.
@@tinubumichael C`mon, does that mean it has to be cheap looking and goofy? It gives, conjuring movies, but with watered-down gothic elements and looking cheap
it IS a B movie, lol. Just because it's a Comicon trailer doesn't mean it's a blockbuster. it will either go right to streaming or have a limited theatrical release for 30 days
I can say for sure the Hellboy one has got to be the best one and only one worth getting excited for. It will give you goosebumps for the creepy shit that’s gonna happen in this one.
Idk I think Gotham was better concept and spun a lot of villains but an actual story of The penguin i don't think the penguin is that much interesting enough that I wanna see it sorry but that's a hard pass for me
At first i was like this hellboy looks cheap and scared. But then i started seeing all these comments now im intrigue. I never read the hellboy comics but i do like Hellboy, seeing comic fans say this is accurate makes me excited for it now. I appreciate you hellboy comic fans.
I would actually say it is the most intimidating Hell Boy, just the production looks suspect but watching it over a few times I'm starting to get it liking the horror vibe.
Honestly love the idea now, that Sauron came in AND utilized the LAST of their greatest powers and offered to temper them into controlled might... only to leave them cursed under the matter.
I loved The Jackal, with Bruce Willis, but I cant believe that theyre making a remake series of it. On peacock nonetheless. It looks like a complete bomb in the making lol😂
@@Not_An_EV I just can't feel anything watching this trailer. The guy playing Hellboy even feels like the side-character in this trailer. How is this trailer going to get any viewers outside of his own comic fans. At least the other three movies drew people outside its comic fans to the theater. This one doesn't even seem to last a week in cinema's.
@@superyid2010 They've turned it into a full blown horror movie. Hellboy should be a just little bit silly. The original movies got it just right but this one doesn't seem quite right.
@@pobsdadthe creator of the character has said his vision for a Hellboy movie is more of a horror movie, which I would say looks spot on with this new movie.
I think it looks badass! I'm tired of these "too goofy" comic book movies. They need to be darker and rated R. Kids don't watch them. The people who grew up to it do.
@@getsmarty7603 Looks badass? It looks like a content creator said " Come... get your cell phone, not your Iphone... not your smart phone, but your old garden variety flip cell phone and meet me out back in the yard. We'll film amongst the trees and shyt." I love that you love this but please, don't do this.
OK. Here is what you do. Turn the sound off and watch the trailer. Then, watch something else for three minutes. Then, try to remember anything from the previous trailer. If all you remember are people talking to each other or going from point A to point B. That will pretty much be the movie. Also, remember that the trailer will show the best the movie will provide, so when you roll your eyes, it may be time to let that film roll on by. 😎
Thought I was the only one. It feels a little too on the nose and too close to current politics in America. Hope they don't try to force a message in our faces
