NATOids have invaded RU-vid as well and are here mouthing off. The capital of Ukraine is Kiev. It is also called Kyiv if that's what suits you. One is not a misspelling of the other. It is not the only capital or city whose name has variants. Try Brussels ( Bruxelles, Brussel), Vienna: Wien, Copenhagen: København, The Hague: Den Haag, Rome: Roma, Warsaw: Warszawa, Prague: Praha, Mexico City: Ciudad de México, Munich: München, Moscow: Moskva. Nowhere else does calling a city by its other name or variant entitle people to go on an international begging spree or make them lose their shit. You can do that on your own time. If it pleases you.
