Hi Shelly, I was thinking the tru blend matte was going to be definitely matte, but instead I, too, see some gentle luminosity . It looks really pretty on your skin . Now I want to try it myself ; I love that finish! 🎣

I appreciate your channel so much. I also have always had dry skin. Hardly any acne as a teenager. As I age, I can see that having drier skin is not a blessing as a 45 year old. Unfortunately I didn't start a skincare routine until my 30s. It takes me so long to get thru a bottle of foundation. Like a year. Currently using Flower beauty Light Illusion.

I'm currently working my way through my foundation collection, giving each two tries to either work out or get out. 😆 First to hit the 🗑️ was the CoverGirl Olay Simply Ageless (in the balm form). The polka dot pores and uncomfortable dryness just couldn't be overcome.

I must say though, idk if you've reviewed them before (as apparently your updates were lost in the algorithm for me for a really long time... Which resulted in me accidentally neglecting your channel for a while.... ☹️), The CoverGirl concealers from the same line always look disgusting at the store! At least in my area, no matter where I see them (Walgreens, King Soopers, Target, etc), the formula is obviously separated (like natural peanut butter that needs to be refrigerated) in every single tube I ever see!!! I don't get it !!!

There is one CVS near me that does a great job of keeping only fresh stock out... then other stores (especially Walgreens here) let the most disgusting separated stuff sit right there on the shelves. There's no way they don't see it and realize it's not supposed to be like that. I tend not to buy any makeup from stores that ignore things like that because I can't stand that they don't care about selling expired products.

Hi Shelly, I appreciate how you really put products to the thoroughest of tests; I was just on Amazon looking for a good full coverage foundation and the CoverGirl Olay was one of them. But! Not any more! Could you or have you done a recent of CoverGirl Olay Advanced Radiance or L'Oreal Paris Visible Lift? You are my absolute go-to for reviews, especially foundation. I was thinking about It CC with Illuminance but it's a lit of $ and the shade selection is very limited. Anyway, I am about ready to watch some more for your channel- hey wait a minute! It's not over yet! Two more to go. Oh, when you mentioned you were from or had lived in the Chicago subs, I have to say "me, too". I've lived here all my life. (joy. Nothing better than a Chicago winter hey).okay! thank you again and I'm onto the next one in this video. 🎣

Issues on the left side of your face could be sunscreen (or lack thereof) related. From driving. I had to focus on correcting sun damage with my skincare to get some relief.

I discovered and used an entire tube of NuColor Moisturizering Foundation in Light 1. This foundation is exactly as advertised. It's $1.25 at Dollar Tree. Since we're heading into a Recession next year, how about reviewing this Foundation? 💕

I was at Walmart yesterday and they had a lot of shades in the outlast foundation, at regular price. The Target stores near me don’t carry it anymore. Maybe it’s just being discontinued at Target?

He does and I love him so much! lol I don't know that it's a male and I suppose I don't even know if it's the same chipmunk, but I think it is because he has the same patterns and always runs back to the same place in the front yard after he grabs snacks from the back!

Hi Shelly!! Can you try the new Nyx Bare with me Blur Skin Tint Foundation? It sounds promising! Also, did you ever try the Dior forever matte? I’ve heard it was a good one and more soft matte/satin than actual matte matte.

Try out the TruBlend Matte Made! I've heard a lot of reports that it wears well for combo/oily skin but I can say from experience it's also great on my dry skin - so it may be the best of both worlds!
