Fun fact: the reason some of these bosses don't show the death animation is because they weren't programed to die in one hit, so the game doesn't know what to do and only shows the sound.

For those curious why some phases don't show a knock out animation, the last phase is actually a different boss hidden outside the screen. This can be seen very good while clown boiii is dying. If u look to the downer area of the screen u can see the clouds.
In that case he should've fought them too as he fought all the vegetables or both phases from the frogs or the ghost train, its not because of that, Its because they dont have any knock out animation since theyre meant to mutate right away with a different animation.
Tbh feels like he ran a trainer because of this and is trying to claim it as a glitch. Especially since he doesn't seem to have much game sense, doesn't seem like he fully knows how to defeat all the bosses at first, or even show us how the glitch is done.

I mean to put it literally, the Devil did give Cuphead 2 days, so wasting time going through all the phases would've ate up maybe a day, or more. So I see this as canon

It’s funny how some of the multi stage bosses have a death animation for losing in the first stage (Frogs, Blimp Lady) but as you progress it seems like it just breaks and the multi stage bosses stop playing their stage 1 death animations
As far as I know each boss is programmed in phases, so when the game can't find the correct animation for the knockout in the first phase it just runs nornally, al least some bosses can be confirmed to be killed before their final phase, but those who can't legally the game doesn't change the state of the boss that's why they are still moving
