All Dark Elf Units and Mechanics in SFO Grimhammer II

In this video we take a look at all the units and mechanics that the darkelfs get in SFO Grimhammer 2. There are some awesome mechanics given to the different factions. There are also lots of units not present in vanilla. Malekith gets the Shadowfire guard and Manitcore lords. Lokhir Felheart gets the unique handbow corsair unit Creeping Dread, Sea dragons and Helldrake pack. Morathi gets Pleasure cultists and Daemonettes. And Crone Hellebron gets Hellebronai Executioners.

The SFO Grimhammer Mod team have given all factions a little something to make them more interesting.
Simply Fun Overhaul: Grimhammer II is a whole game mod that changes every aspect of the TW: WH II to be closer to the lore and Warhammer universe. We are long fans of Warhammer and want to share this passion with all of you thanks to this mod.
SFO mods are not meant to be better than vanilla game but meant to be a different experience! Vanilla is still great!

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm not sure what to do with these since game 3 is coming out in 2 weeks. There will be at least one more of this kind of video before game 3 but I might wait for SFO 3 to do more after that. Either way I will do Dwarfs sooner or later.

I recently played a Dark Elf campaign with Rakarth in SFO, so I'm not going to start one right now. But I will get back to them eventually.

This shows that SFO is bloated way beyond reason. Why does every unit need to have so many abilities, it's ridiculous. And wow the currencies are such a unique mechanic every faction needs to have it. When someone makes a good mod (like the Druchi immersion mod) they instantly need to integrate it into their already bloated Sonic fanfic mod. No wonder SFO is hated by all the actually good modders.

I think the currencies are a nice addition. They might not all be revolutionary but they add a little flavor to many of the sub factions to differentiate them from the others. This way the base factions don't all play exactly the same.

Going to hard disagree on every point you just made, mate. I find SFO to be super immersive, and a near-must for actually playing the game, as it makes so many factions with lackluster mechanics into factions that are actually fun to play.

@@TheAshHeritor Agreed, I wouldn't say a must, mostly due to the later DLC factions beeing so good. But the base factions are really bland and SFO makes them so much better

@@lazygrouse Yeah, for sure. SFO even managed to make Queek fun to play for reasons that aren't just because you're playing Queek! But yes, lords like Tyrion, Queen, Malekith and some of the others just got left in the dust, and I'm really pleased at how SFO remade them.

@@TheAshHeritor Yeah, I think especially skaven since I think they got the best DLCs. The base lords are borderline unplayable without SFO when compared to the DLC lords.
