Hi Hi. I’m doing laundry as well. I’m doing whites right now and will do a few more loads. How do you like your washing machine? I am looking into a new washing machine.

Colour catcher sheets won’t save your whites- over time they will grey. I always save up whites and do a designated load for those. Can I also make a suggestion? I have the same washer as you and love it, but the pipe leading to the filter got blocked with a colour catcher sheet. It was a simple fix by the mechanic but it still cost me his call out fee 😩. He said he did 5-6 such repairs every week. He advised me to put the sheet into a net underwear bag, I also have net bags I use to buy loose veg so dedicated one of those to my washing. It makes the sheet just too bulky to cause another problem. I also do a load every morning when I wake so I never get mount washmore build up. I have two adult children with disabilities still living with me so it really helps me to not get overwhelmed, plus I never spend a whole day doing laundry. As I don’t use a tumble dryer by choice ( too expensive and I believe they ruin clothes- anything stretchy and gym clothes/leggings in particular should never been tumble dried if you look at the label .) I can get a load dry every day easily either outside or on my heated Lakeland airer- very cheap to run and as I put shirts etc on hangers and shake/shape as I do go along, I never have ironing to do. I love the smell of clothes dried outside and hate all the scented pellets etc- I only use eco detergent and white vinegar to soften towels occasionally not every wash). No conditioner or even white vinegar should be used on gym clothes or stretchy clothes as it can break the Lycra down- it can also stop cleaning cloths, microfibres clothes and towels become less absorbent over time . Finally I wipethe inside of the washer door and the rubber gasket after I’ve finished- it stops mildew and mould and prevents the rubber gasket developing a nasty odour over time. Things I’ve learned over my 61 years!
