Okay, but can we talk about how good this looks?! Like, it's an Undertale fan game that could very well be one of those creepy 90s adventure games, with smooth animations, genuine scares and its own story to boot! How many fan games have been able to pull that off?!
I know the story, let me tell you: "The story starts just like Undertale, in a neutral route, Asgore is killed, the human takes his soul and leaves the underground, Toriel takes charge as the queen again and says that from now on, humans shall be treated as friends, not enemies. This did not please the monsters and Toriel got thrown to the ruins again, Undyne was placed in charge and placed a new rule: all the humans that fall to the underground, *SHOULD BE KILLED*
Revisiting old Undertale horror AUs for the sake of nostalgia. I kinda miss this one, I wish the devs actually went through with this. It was a very interesting concept
To anyone that is curios about this game, the author of the comics of horrortale said that in october we'll have the finished gameplay to play on newgrounds i assume as this first demo was published there. Also some kind of "surprise" on September 1st!

I feel depressed just as how tori,sans and paps feels Horrortale is more depressing than scary . Paps still has his old self but his condition is horrible not only his looks, but I think you get it. Same with Sans and Toriel
Sans lost his bad time eye when undyne tried to save alphys when she failed to commit suicide after rebuilding mettaton and undyne used his eye to help alphys and he killed a gaurd and took its eye and the blood coming from his skull after the incident turned the eye blood red idk what happened to pap though mabye somehow he survived an attack from frisk but this is long after the neutral run occurred. Your welcome depressing
It's been 4-3 years since I've played this game and even though it was quite short The art style and everything is really amazing , though I wonder if they already made a full game of it [especially since it's been many years since this undertale fangame was released]
yeah the artstyle of sour apple studio doesn't seem to be quite the best but their art is the only horror thing make me scare to the spine everytime i try this game but again it horror birthday today so i guess we can play it back and celebrate horror party.

Toriel didn't touch the child she burnt the child, sans on the other hand put he's meat cleaver and bones through them, papyrus only gave them *_HUMAN FOOD_*
Well, Horrortale takes place after a neutral ending where you just go through the game in an average game where you don't make friends with anyone. Just avoid combat and then are forced to kill Asgore to then escape.
Also there's a reason as to why they turned out the way they did. There is a comic made by the same person that made this demo. It gives a backstory as to why the monsters have become Monsters.
The monsters are desperate for food after there king died in the nuetral route. So they started to kill and eat the humans that fell to survive and over time they became insane.

I'll have to give the golden chainsaw for the coolest kill to torial because you can't go wrong with being set on fire and it's a brutal way to go. While I'll give the dull machete for the lamest kill to the first Sans kill because we don't even see him kill you with the ax.

Tbh if I were in Aliza's place I'd probably trust Papyrus more than Sans. Even though he does have intentions to kill me just like Sans, at least he hides it and doesn't make it obvious like Sans. Besides he still has that approachable personality despite his appearance.

I like the new swarm of people who just randomly came back to this little game that unfortunately never got finished. Its the day after Thanksgiving 2023 12:27am and here i am revisiting something i was looking forward to 7 years ago, life is weird and disappointing. I was in middleschool when this demo dropped
I remember this a very long time ago and I think so far is it's still really great the art gives a Don't Starved vibes and the Environment still has that unsettling factor and the sounds are good too and yeah this thing is still amazing
Head cannon (or whatever that means): Aliza doesn’t have a lot of blood in her body. A type of bird has no blood in their feet so they can walk on very cold snow. So she can’t have frostbite on her feet because of that
Hi guys by the way did you know that there is an official comic in the works for horrortale? It features a lot of creepy awesome stuff and so far there is one ending done!
He does want to kill Aliza.... He just wants to kill her with his puzzles and not outright kill her i think since....he did mentioned one of his traps killed an human (the human became headless)
@@Makurose-bloss yeah and maybe they can get some actors who played in horror movies to do voices or play characters like Robert england who can probably do a good horror sans and/ or papyrus voice.
I get it now. Normally it'd be fine if papyrus wasnt a skeleton, but there's hair in the food, papyrus doesnt have any hair, It cant be her hair either because it looks like it's more orange than her hair color.
