I like to think the other entity sounds are just those entities in other parts of the hotel away from you, as if they always do their thing if you're there or not
It makes sense. Sounds #8 sounds like Eyes is chilling in another room, only for Rush to barge through and probably force Eyes to exit. And obviously, Sounds #20-23 being Screech, Rush, and A-60.
That's exactly what I was thinking about these far away monsters Like rush, you can hear him braking lights but not in the room that u are in and also a-60 rushing through rooms
In some ambiences you can just hear Eyes. #6 is the best one and gives that "Doors mood" very well. #15 is something else tho. Sounds like a monster, kind off. There's probably something bigger and scarier in this hotel.
Here are what I think the ambient sounds are. 1: El goblino moving a small object 2: El goblino moving something big 3: El goblino stomping 4: El goblino fixing something or something else 5: El goblino scaring us 6: El goblino moving something in another room 7: El goblino knocking while moving something 8: Eyes is maybe chilling in another room, followed by Rush going past him 9: Eyes inflicting damage on something in another part of The Hotel 10: El goblino knocking or Jack banging something (idk) lol 11: El goblino dropped something 12: A noise in Basements 13 Something going on in The Mines (maybe) 14: El goblino dropping multiple items 15: El goblino moving a closet/bed 16: El goblino knocks on a door while moving something and then opens the door 17: El goblino probably moving a luggage cart 18: El goblino knocking and then opens a door 19: El goblino probably fixing something 20: Screech warning us or a fake out 21: Rush faking us out 22: Rush faking us out again 23: A-60 faking us out I’m done here…
The 6th ambience sound is always the one that creeps me out the most Why? Because it makes me feel as if though there's gonna be an entity coming my way
I used to live in a panelka (they are Russian panel buildings) and I heard sounds similar to the 6th one, I suppose it was just people moving their furniture around since Alot of people lived there.
my theories as to what every single ambience is: #1: just el goblino in the walls or something #2: el goblino pushing something out of the way, or maybe a door that leads to jeff's shop, also in the walls #3: something falling over in another room we havent seen (probably one of the boarded off rooms) #4. obviously el goblino messing with the player #5. ditto #6. at the start you can clearly hear it start to move, so its not an entity of any kind, probably el goblino moving something in another room. #7: el goblino walking up the stairs #8: eyes probably #9: 100% eyes #10: el goblino #11: el goblino tripping on something #12: a crucifix falling from above a door #13: probably ambush through multiple walls #14 - #19: el goblino #20 - #22: auditory hallucinations
also let me go ahead and debunk what these sounds might be,. 1. floorboards/chair/door creaking, most likely eg 2. maybe a roof nearly collapsing due to heavy rain? 3. something heavy falling/being dropped on a carpet, could be eg 4. something knocking on a very thin door/table/floorboard, also could be eg 5. something knocking on a wooden wall, el goblino again 6. something extremely heavily being moved around, a couch? i can also hear what seems to be thumping, maybe footsteps? 7. sounds like walking, rather than knocking, so it could be el goblino walking up wooden stairs, or on a wooden floor 8. most likely eyes, or whispers that you can hear whilst hallucinating 9. definitely eyes 10. more knocking, this time, on what seems like a coffee table 11. wooden planks being moved to create a path, perhaps the rooms entrance? or figure moving planks aside to get to room 100 faster 12. a droplet of water falling on a metal surface, or in the greenhouse (seriously, these things can get very loud at night) 13. when i hear this noise whilst in a run, i always think that an airplane or metro is active, the rumbling can explain it. 14. after some thorough listening, i can only conclude that this sounds like a metal bucket being tossed around 15. more floorboards creaking, definitely not furniture 16. something knocking on the door, and then entering a new room. most likely eg greeting figure 17. someone (100% el goblino) opening a drawer and then swooping up some gold 18. very quaint knocking, what seems to be on a table 19. more noticeable knocking, also seems to be on a table 20. screech (duh) 21. a rush fake to confuse the player, perhaps el goblino recorded rush's audio and then played it over some sort of loudspeaker to confuse the player 22. another rush fake, with a light breaking. 23. an a-60 fake, this one is a little confusing since el goblino doesn't spawn in the rooms, so i feel like this could be played by a-90, or even a-120. not too sure on this however edit: after rewatching the video, if you listen closely to number 8, you can hear a VERY faint rush, listen to when the whispers stop, you can hear a grainy/staticlike sound, resembling rush's incoming audio.
Doors was my first ever horror game... fell in love with it immediately. I remember being terrified with my first knocking ambience, and always feeling so scared in dark rooms with ambience all around me. Now... it feels so nostalgic. How I wish I could go back to those days...

There is an very very scary ambience in Room. In a day I played room and suddenly I heard footsteps and doors opening. Then later when the footsteps calmed down, there was a sound like a monster screaming but there was no one there. And that's the only game I heard going on. Weird...
The footsteps and doors opening were definitely you or another player if you weren't playing alone, as for the monster scream that probably wasn't from the game and was just someone screaming in real life.
@@stickad_ nope. i was standing near a locker before and just kept hearing doors opening. go to the rooms, stand there for a bit, and see if you hear it

Hey Potemer I found this really cursed image on the Doors wiki, it's Jack, but he is looking straight at you. His black eyes were staring deep into my soul.
I can hear other hotel sounds that are far away from you and recocnize them like scratching chair and someone walking through rooms WAIT WHAT IS THAT RUSH I NEED TO HIDE QUICKLY!! Ooh i can relax its just rushing through other rooms WAIT A-60 AIN'T NO WAY IN THE NORMAL DOORS?!??!?
i've always thought #6 was the creaking of the hotel, now that i read the comments, im starting to believe smth heavy such as a cabinet or a couch is being moved across the cold, hard wood floor.
