I think making the mega and gigantamax forms into some of the double fusions is a really creative way to implement them Same goes for certain regional forms like farfetch’d’s one
@@kianthornton2856you don’t have to use the gmax sprite, you can change their sprite using the Pokédex. Also, don’t blame the game, it’s the community that makes the sprites, not the creator.
can I mention for a second that Butterfrees double fusion is LITERALY EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING A BUTTERFREE MEAGA WOULD LOOK LIKE, but still pretty good video.
One of my friends wrote a story which involved a mutated pack of Charmeleon and a Charizard. They watched this and apparently the double fusions for both were almost exactly what they had in mind while writing. Its like that one guy who heard Marx's (from kirby super star) death scream in a dream before defeating him the next morning and getting the scare of his life Weird how that stuff happens
Fun fact:the doubles in the metagross line is a reference on a pokedex entry that says 2 beldums create metang,2 metangs create metagross and the list goes on Even 2 metagross creates the mega form
1:58 reference to the Heckitonkeres from Greek mythology 2:40 Gasly and Haunter refer to an ancient Japanese legend about a flaming head 3:03 do I need to say it for Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan? 3:41 magicarp is a reference to a Japanese carp who caused earthquakes. I forget the name 3:46 ditto is a smile from Dragon Quest, I’m sure everyone knew that 5:35 not about the fusion, but Espeon is based of a Nekomata from Japanese mythology 5:41 unknown is based of a seraphim (I think) described in the Bible as such, but golden and not black 5:51 duncparce is based off a Tsuchinoko from Japanese mythology (starting to see a pattern here) 6:23 Houndour is based off Cerberus from Greek mythology 7:00 Tyranitar is based off Godzilla and I see that cheeky reference from Gale of Darkness devs😊 7:41 Nosepass is a Moai from Easter Island and Mawile is from Japanese mythology 8:51 Sun Wukong obviously 11:33 Genesect is Evangelian Let me know if I missed anything
For the unown fusion, it is based off of biblical angels, but it's the Thrones that are the wheels covered with eyes. The seraphim are the ones with 6 wings that cover their face and feet. Thank you for the insight you brought into some of the fusions. It makes the designs more interesting.
11:41 that is just a woman, like that is just a person, that is, an honest to god human being, thats just a pop idol payed by their company to dress that way for a promotion probably *would*
