I've put the week 2 chests up first in each of their locations, but after that I've also included the week 1 chests for anybody who may have missed them last week. I've also included timestamps that will allow you to skip to anything you may or may not need. Make sure that you've completed NES007 (last week's specimen quest). I also believe these need to be done in "Encore: Concerto" to get the week 2 chests, which is the version of the mission available this week when progressing the seasonal questline.

Just a warning to everyone. If you accidently go back through the portal during signal seeker, with a buff, it takes it away from you and it cannot be completed. Need to restart the whole mission.
I ran the exotic mission 3 times 😂 Once for the catalyst, then the vex eyes then finally void distablising kills. Proud to say the puzzles this week didn't confuse me 😊
There are data nodes throughout the mission, from what I’ve done the first one that starts spawning the rest is in the section after the first secret chest where you have to run from the red wall. You’ll know when to look cause down by the kill feed it will say something along the lines of data node(s) have become vulnerable
5:10 for what it's worth, the secret portal room behind the waterfall is open while you're here. Nothing in it though. It's not open at the beginning of the mission, where this area is.
Thank you so much for making these. I could only guess how much time this saved me on these second week chests. I'm sure it would've taken twice as long if I was successful. I especially was glad for the last chest.
@@McStank01complete some of this week’s quest(at the helm) and the new Encore Concerto exotic mission will be available. You’ll find the portal in that mission not the original.
I forgot to get the quest from banshee so I didn’t get the catalyst on my first clear. I ended up redoing the mission 4x before realizing what was going on.
So do you have to do it in expert to get the specimen? I have not seen anywhere where it says if you do or not and last I checked the specimen mission just says do the mission. Nothing about doing it on expert.
@@Surrheal I picked up the new, second quest from the gunsmith and the "Defeat Encore on Legend" was already checked off....I jsut had to beat it on normal and do the 2 new puzzle chests and I got the second catalyst ....so Surrheal is correct
At the second chest week 2 you can scan the EXO it just goes through the dialog so you dont have to wait for it when you get out again to progress to the boss room.
finding and figuring out all the secret chests and doing them solo is so much more rewarding always remember: most things in this game (especially exotic missions) are designed to be decipherable by an attentive solo player
Brilliant upload Eso 👍 very clear instructions on where to go and what needs doing 👏 my question is why when i run it that the robot dropped a green module key not a yellow one 🤔 the sames happened earlier in a mission where a robot drops me green yet when iv watched videos its yellow key 🤷♀️ am i missing something ?
Yes mate you just need to have completed the first week quest ( secret chest and expert clear) if you've already done that then pick up the second quest and you'll have the expert clear already ticked which means you can acquire the second chest and the Destabilising rounds cat on a normal clear.
I got both these chest and the triumph for all the secret chests has the 4th and 7th not filled in oddly enough. Makes sense to be missing two for next week but the positions of the ones missing makes it feel like I missed something. Lol
Just an fyi, there seems to be a glitch after getting the catalysts from shooting the 5 different plates. It won’t teleport me back, and the direction i’m supposed to go is walled by a vex wall now.
Bungie: Before doing any of this please melee 50 vex for literally no reason whatsoever. This season has just been a bunch of time wasting bullshit. Its no wonder Bungie is crumbling, and I'm glad.
Well I just found out the hard way you still need to do all 3 even if you’ve done them before. I only needed the last chest so I didn’t do the other 2 since I did them all ready and when I got to the final room there was no access portal 🤬
Yes mate I had the same issue, turns out that the first sequence actually triggers the synchronisation of the whole puzzle malarkey. Since you can't create a checkpoint then each time you leave it resets the whole damn thing lol.
Hi. Great job on this guide. Very easy to follow. One question though. At 6:15 you say NOT to scan the EXO (i follow your indication), but was just wondering why shouldn't we scan it??
If we scan the EXO first, I feel there’s a chance we won’t b able to interact and open the portal in order to get to the important weekly chest 4 Destabilising Rounds. Earlier on, I hit that Piston hammer thing straight away to get more samples and I wasn’t able to open the portal to the right of it! The white Vex stuff to interact with just disappeared in front of my eyes 😂😂😭
Would you happen to know why my left portal is not open? Got the catalyst and specimen. But when leaving the portal, my left side is not open? Great tutorial by the way!
I've noticed this mission to get quite buggy, so maybe it bugged out for you. Eso mentioned it was the week one chest as well, so maybe since you got that already and you're in the week 2 version it won't open in this one.
you have to complete it once, and i think banshee has the quest for it. I didnt pick it up and got the chest, but it didnt drop. but talking ton banshee afterwards will give it to you
So are there only two chests in Week 2 or is there another one? Just making sure before I get going on the what I have left to do for the rest of the week.
What’s up eso, was wondering if you knew why this was happening we got to the second week portal room and only week one portal is activated, do we need to complete a specimen quest for it? 005?
@@JHFrank Interesting, me and my friends grabbed the first 3 and then when i grabbed the 4th one it disappeared for them so they didnt get it. Will have to check what happened then
There's a few extra harpies in the platforming sections and the final boss has a different name. That's it. There's also a couple extra lasers in the adytum.
Hey man, if you've already done the first quest from banshee ticking off the secret chest and completing it on expert week 1 then all you need to do is grab the second quest from banshee and you'll notice the expert clear has already been ticked off on week 2 so to get Destabilising rounds all you need to do is run it normal mate.
This is bullshyt. I was missing only one more piece and i went thru a portal (by accident) and lost all the progress i made and couldn’t finish the stupid maze collection. I really don’t like this mission.
Finally I found someone else who is talking about this, yeah the only ones i missed were the ones in the part where you have to run from red wall and cyclops things, it has to do something. Nobody is talking about this, I even went in to the area that looks like the infinite forest vex gates, none there but I was hunting for them, i will do a run tonight and update you if anything happens. It could be for another week or something or part of final specimen quest
