Prague Spring Ending: Czechoslovakia succeeded in throwing off Soviet influence in 1968 and even repelled an attempted crackdown by the Soviet armed forces. With NATO mobilizing to intervene, the Soviets were forced to back down and allowed the Czechs to leave the Warsaw Pact without further violence on the condition that they sign a neutrality treaty, which was ratified in Prague later in the year. They then joined the Non-Aligned Movement, and became well known as a safe haven for dissidents from the Warsaw Pact as well as for their arms exports to nations unable to procure satisfactory kit from NATO or the Warsaw Pact.
Thr munich disagreenment is probably the best one since czechoslovakia didnt get destroyed and robbed by fadcist germans and probably is the richest and most powerful country in eastern europe. It should have been like this because they were ready with thousands of bunkers in the sudetenland

Fun fact: Slivovice (slivovica in slovak) is an alcoholic dring made by destilation of plums. The village Jožin z bažin takes place is Vizovice, which is located in Moravia region.
Considering how Yugoslavia fell apart... yes, the Czechs and Slovaks could have had it much worse. At least the dissolution of _this_ Slavic union didn't come at the cost of bloodshed.

All in all, the best solution for the Czechoslovakian people would have been the Austro-Slavic ending! The creation of a Slavic entity next to German Austria and Hungary within Austria-Hungary. This would have avoided the world wars, the Nazi occupation after 1938 and the expulsion of the German Sudetes after 1945!
