Serbian Empire was on the end divaided between 10-12 different heroes/great generals/soldiers that wanted to have power for themselves. If Uros the fifth managed to get it back all together or even had a son that became great ruler. Then yes, imperial ending might be possible. Also if serbs were serious in battle of marica 😢
There were multiply fatal mistakes in Serbian history ,First in middle ages when Serbia was expanding on behalf off Byzantine Empire,they were blind to see that by that they dig own grave becase by weaking Byzantine Empire they were calling Ottoman empire . Second was after 1918 creating Yugoslavia ,Serbia was victorious while others were loosers so could choice borders they want. ANd 3th one was after WWII when Yugoslavia was already a thing instead off centralized state like Italy or Germany they went for decentralized state which was recipe for disaster
The decadence of the Byzantine Empire started without Serbia. Serbia is not the cause of it. But yes, it was a mistake for Serbia to save Croatia and Slovenia from the losing side of the peace table. They could have had Bosnia, a bit of Dalmatia and Slavonian and it would have been fine.
Axis ending is wrongly described. The war-time occupation was never the same as for the Eastern territories. The invasion of Yugoslavia as a whole was not something that Germany planned on doing. The most realistic thing that would happen is that Serbia would become a satellite state of Germany, while getting back Bosnia (read Hermann Neubacher's book on the wartime situation of the Balkans), in short it was because Germans were frustrated with Croatian incompetence and atrocities so they intended to split the country between themselves and Serbia. Then depending on the situation in Italy, they might get back provinces of Montenegro and KosMet.
Vojvodina will not declare independence as 65% of the population there are Serbs. As for Republika Srpska, one day it will join Serbia. Not now, but one day. You can't give everyone the right to self-determination, except to Serbs. If Kosovo can separate from Serbia, then Republika Srpska can separate from Bosnia. It's that simple.

Vojvodina should be returned to Hungary, Kosovo should get their independence but pay for their crimes and Republika Srpska should join Serbia after some border changes.
