I love watching your gameplay and thought process, learning a lot! I agree with kids, I think 2 kids are enough (they can be searchable). For me I like 2 zoros for against Enel and Mirror, so I increase the chance of finiding them, but again Doffy has way more value if they swinging. Zoro gets raigo, usually :/
I know this would be playing for the wrong team in this video, but I'm an enel and have been really struggling with the Bonney matchup - have you got any tips?
@@mudkiperplays3172 starve the fuck out of them. never swing until you have 4 characters 7 cost or above. if you never swing they can’t doffy or leader ability ever. eventually your raigos will clear their board and if they ever tap anything you just swing into it
@@Mayyhin mulligan for basil. everyone says you should just swing face the entire time but i tend to disagree. like for sure you need to be more aggressive than in any other matchup bc you need to get value out of your cards before they swing. but there is a point in the game, usually when they are at 3 life, that you pivot to swing at board bc their hand wll be so low. but at the end of the day, you need to swing face. you need to put them in a position where they HAVE to play rebecca into sabo and you can punish with hody. so i guess i’d say mulliganfor basil first off. try to chain two basils turn to turn. then focus on swinging at life unless their hand/board ratio doesn’t make sense to swing at life. stick a doffy or two. never play down zoro bc it has no on play value. then hody. that’s the game plan. doesn’t always work out like that of course. so just be aware of what they can do and try to play around it as much as you can. i have a video of ALL LUCCI on my channel if you wanna watch that
@@kkgrande4 yeaaaaaaa idkkkkk i’ve tried that a bunch and usually you just end up having no counter to counter out of swings at characters :/ but honestly idk, it might be worth while in a lot of spots if you don’t swing w basils so that you can recoup your hand w life cards. recently i’ve been just acting like the effect doesn’t exist and just letting them trash the cards. it sucks but it might just be the way idk. another thing to consider is that if you play like that and they just end up playing gecko instead then you’re kinda just fucked ya know. but idk it might be worth
@@plasticbeachx3 yeah I’ve watched you all lucci video but those lucci players made lots of mistakes lucci players don’t tend to make at my locals so I didn’t wanna get myself happy seeing Bonney beat lucci in some of those 😂 but yeah I guess I just need to rely on basil heavily and hody I’m just very unlucky because I only ever see 1-2 basil the whole game and the lucci players I vs know Bonney so even when I clear their full board one gecko fills their board again while also removing mine and I just end up in a situation where I can’t do much. I don’t play zoros in my deck I find it never gets value
@@plasticbeachx3 our lists are prettt similar aswell I just prefer to play 2 x drake instead of Bonney since I get more use out of x drake than I do with Bonney and I only use 2 8 cost kidds because I find more than that makes me brick too much and I can search for it if I need it
