Hi mam! During a conversation between A and B, A- I wouldn't know. B- You would. In this case what does 'would' mean?

I, probably, overuse “could” in my speaking and don’t use “might” as often as I needed because they’re quite similar to each other.

Don't you think that word 'should' is overused by English people in order to soften up the language? For example: 'The drug problem needs to stop', instead of: 'The drug problem must stop, or at least should be stopped'.
